⭐️ CARAMEL HOT CROSS BUN PUDDING⭐️
- The best hot cross buns you will eat…
🖤🖤Here is the recipe..
Ingredients:
6 x hot cross buns
6 x Whole eggs
2 cups milk
300mls cream
30g sugar
1 x Jar of Vanilla Bean Salted Caramel Sauce
Method:
Heat oven to 160c
1. Line a baking tray with baking paper (big enough for the six buns)
2. Break apart all buns & cut in half.
3. Place the bun in the lined tray.
4. Add a big teaspoon dollop of salted caramel sauce in between each bun (like a sandwich). 5. Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar in a bowl & pour over buns (let it soak for 20mins). 6. Cover with foil & cook for 40mins - 50mins or till cooked though so egg mix isn't runny.
7. Take out of oven & pour the remainder of Carmel on top of the buns. (We heated the caramel in microwave for a few seconds, for easy pouring consistency)
8. Serve with a scope of your favourite ice cream.
We love these and recommend having one in your cupboard at all times… the red wine jus especially as it’s great just on its own but also as it’s a great base to use to make your own flavoured sauce!!!

“How to cook crispy pan seared Duck Breast”
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pre-heat oven to 190°C
2. Pat duck skin dry,
score the skin (in a crisscross cut)
season with salt.
place the duck breasts skin side down
into a cold pan and slowly heat the pan (this helps render the skin by melt the fat and help the skin to crisp up without burning.
cook for 5 mins or until
skin is golden.
3. Turn the duck breast over and cook for a further 2 mins.
Remove from the pan and place on a roasting tray.
4. Roast the duck in the oven for
8mins to your liking
(For best results, duck should be
cooked medium).
5. Remove from the oven and
rest for 10 mins before slicing.

A great sauce can complete a meal… we don’t always have the time to make a sauce so we ultimately end up getting a store bought one…
I think we have found the best store bought sauce on the market… Boutique Sauces are chef driven hand crafted sauces, gluten free and all natural..
My absolute favourite is the green peppercorn and brandy sauce, i could literally drink the stuff.. its a knock out on steak.
We stock a wide range of their sauces in store, get on in and complete that meal…
No-Fuss, Easy oven baked Beef ribs with Boutique Sauces, Beef & Rib Sauce.... (BBQ devotees, turn away now) this recipe is so easy just set and forget.
But first save for later..
* Preheat oven to 180c
* Peel off tough membrane that covers the underside/bony side of the ribs.
* Place on a long bit of foil & then baking paper
* Pour the Beef & Rib Sauce over beef ribs, and fold foil to cover ribs & then place into oven For 3 hours.....
* brush left over sauce onto tender ribs and bake for a further 10mins or till ribs are sticky Gooey... YUM.
