💃🏻 Hats off to the most incredible Christmas tour with Everdream! This is one of my favourite memories from the tour. We had thought that Carmen might go into retirement next year but it seems she has a few years left in her! Every venue, every audience was just magical and we’re so grateful.

Having the most wonderful time on tour with Everdream! Thank you to all of our audiences so far in Gesa Power House Theatre Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre The Capitol Theatre and The Panida Theater - we quite literally couldn’t do it without you!

If you haven’t, here is a snapshot into our programme: the first half of the show is dedicated to the ‘outdoor’ Christmas (snow, glistening trees, angels in the night!) and the second half is the indoor Christmas (people sitting around the fire, the colour red and some of our ‘sassier’ tunes!)

This is the face of someone who is very chuffed they get to do a job that allows them to wear a tiara! Great fun at Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre last night performing with Everdream for A Celtic Christmas. First time in Kenworthy and what a warm welcome we got! Can’t wait to come back soon!
🦋 Pre show nerves - or even mid-show nerves, are really common. In fact, they’re important as they get your adrenaline moving which you can then use for energy. But sometimes the bad inner voice goes on a little ‘adrenaline trip’ and gets all fired up giving your nasty ‘what if’ thoughts energy too! So whenever this happens to me, I now know what to do. I cannot hold two thoughts in my brain at once so I give my brain something else to do. I repeat these things over and over and over and then I strut onto the stage in confidence!

✨ Nothing matters more than the story - forget the voice, that’ll take care of itself, just tell the story

My various transformations for this years tour (although the first shot is strictly ‘behind the scenes!) Fantastic first show at the Gesa Power House Theatre and another show there tonight. I absolutely love live performances. It’s probably my favourite part of my job but if I had to pick a second favourite, it would be creating music videos. This arrangement was created for me by the incredibly talented Mary McCague Music and I love how she brings a real classical feel to the song! I’ve loved the original by Annie Lennox for years which was featured in the movie ‘Dracula’ so of course I’m releasing it in time for Halloween, along with a lyric video!

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Guinness Storehouse last night with Everdream. Thanks to the team at Sheil Entertainment Agency for looking after us so well.
🧢🎩👒 I have been absent from socials for a little while as I have been so busy swapping hats for the various jobs I have as an independent artist: graphic designer, video editor, producer, mixer, tour organiser/promoter, administrator, marketing strategist, social media manager…oh and singer! I love being busy but it can make me a bit dizzy wearing so many hats sometimes! That said, I got lots done this week and the Christmas tour and all video and singles releases are well under way! Very excited!

This is my beautiful and talented cousin Róisín VOXmouse. This song ‘Black Diamond’ was inspired by my lovely Dad (Roisin’s uncle) and the fact that I sang at his funeral many years ago. I’m sharing it today on my Dads 21 year anniversary. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much to everyone who helped this track happen, from production and adding the beautiful harp to everyone who gave it a listen in its early stages to the final mix. And thank you to my amazing cousin who opened her own heart and gave her blessing to share this song in honour of her late father John Barry.
This was one of the first songs I ever wrote. I was about 19, and it was written about my late uncle John who passed from cancer years before. I was ten years old, and John's death was the first I fully understood the weight of what a loss like that has on family. I kept thinking that John was my dad's brother, and what I would do if lost my siblings, and that Emer, Declan and Ronan had lost their father, that one day, I too would lose my own parents.
Fadó, fadó, a black diamond was a piece of cloth which was custom to wear in Ireland to show you were in mourning. We carry our loved ones that we've lost in so many different ways in our daily lives and it's a wonderful thing to keep their memory alive.
Our family always bear striking resemblances to each other - you'd absolutely know we're related. Dad looks so like Uncle John, and once as a child I went up to Uncle John thinking it was Dad to ask him for something, and got the fright of my life that it wasn't my dad at all! But the likeness caused me to confront the fact that my own parents weren't invincible either which is something I think on often. This song is to remind us of our loved ones who are gone, and to cherish those who are still with us. Rest in peace John

💔 Sharing this today for anyone who has not heard the glory of Patricia Janečková-oficiální profil who passed away, October 1st, from breast cancer, aged 25. In this video she is only 18. My Mum has spent many hours sitting in front of YouTube listening to her and she has brought so much joy to many others around the world. Age aside, this performance is astonishing as was everything she turned her glittering voice to. The world has lost an extraordinary talent but she sure made an impact while she was here!
