Take the Stage Productions; a mobile performing arts education academy dedicated to inspiring a love for the arts in students of all ages; is looking for qualified Performing Arts Instructors for Summer Camps for our locations in:
*Newport Beach
*Mission Viejo
*Aliso Viejo
Camps run from the week of June 19 through the week of Aug 7 and are one week Mon-Fri camps. Morning camps are typically for ages 3-6 from 9am-noon, and afternoon camps are typically for ages 7-11 from 1-4pm
Potential to add classes to schedule in future sessions
Our instructors are outgoing, positive, compassionate, fun, reliable, organized, communicate and connect well with young children as well as parents, and possess a passion for the performing arts. Interviews begin immediately for start dates in March.
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 20 years of age
* Have your own reliable transportation and can drive to our locations
* Enthusiastic, warm-hearted, dynamic, compassionate, and PRO-ACTIVE!
* Responsible, organized, punctual, committed, and a team player.
* Able to work independently to execute curriculum, projects, classes & activities
(With guidance from the director regarding themes and expectations)
* Experience working with young children ages 3-12
Requirements:
* Have a background in theater and be able to teach theater and acting, musical theater, voice, etc. Theater, dance & movement, early childhood development background a plus.
* 1 year previous performing arts teaching experience (training for our specific classes can be provided)
* Must reside within Orange County
*Must complete and pass a Livescan background check for each City (must start this process immediately upon hiring)
*Must comply with each site and City’s Covid safety requirements which may include wearing a mask for indoor programs and providing proof of full vaccination (or frequent negative Covid tests) to the schools and Cities. ***All guidelines at the moment are relaxed with masks optional at all sites
Rate of Pay:
$25/hr for summer camps
*classes during the year are on a sliding scale contractor rate $20+/hr

Merry Grinchmas...I mean, Christmas...from Take the Stage Productions!

Having a super fun week at Be the Writer and the Actor Jr. Camp! Today these budding playwright/performers designed their characters for their play which they have titled "Haunted Shadows." In order of appearance we have the humans Mr. Lemonade, Emma, and Rose, Charlotte the ghost, Lily the mermaid, Mia the witch, Gizmo the kitty ghost, and Mavis the vampire

Had a busy week of camps last week with two Frozen camps, a Little Singers Camp, and a Descendants camp! Can't believe next week is the last week of summer camps and Fall is right around the corner!

🎶I'm brushing up on looking down, I'm working on my ROAR!🎶 We're having so much fun at Broadway Baby Lion King Camp this week!

Practically perfect in every way! How cute is this Mary Poppins?!

Outgoing, positive, organized theater instructor to teach an after school theater class on Monday afternoons. Class is kinder-6th. Candidate should have a background in theater and be able to teach theater and acting. Theater, dance & movement, and early childhood development background a plus. Must pass a Live Scan background check. Spring Session begins March 14. Potential to add more classes to schedule in future sessions.
