What do you do differently than everybody else?
I love this idea of doing things differently and evolving what might have worked in a different time and in a different culture.
When you start making shifts in your way of doing things it comes from a place of what is best for you and your family without having to conform to “the proper way”.
Comment down below! What do you do differently?
47 days and 3 hours after your first date would be terrible advice…
Because I don’t know your partner, your children, or your entire situation. You cannot put a clock on these things.
The advice I can give you is this, take every person into consideration. Your relationship might be really strong but children may need more time to warm up to the idea of having a new family member.
Or maybe your kids are excited to meet your partner, but your partner isn’t quite ready.
All in everybody’s time.

Purpose can seem like an ambiguous topic, but it’s really not..
Whatever lights you up, gets you excited, and fills your cup is your purpose.
And it doesn’t have to be one thing either! Your purpose has so many things woven into it from motherhood, to business women, to nature enthusiast.
There can be a lot of pressure to find your purpose, but it’s not so much something to look for, but something you’re already experiencing.
A step-by-step guide to starting your day well, no matter what.
It’s SO hard to establish routines when you days start very, very differently depending on if your children are with you or not.
Everything from the time you go to sleep to the time you wake up, whether your date sleeps over or you have your bed to yourself, whether a small human needs you to get them a snack before your eyes open, or you lay in bed for an hour listening to an eerily quiet house just because you can.
Consistency seems like a thing of the past.
It doesn’t have to be.
Your shared and non-shared mornings can be similar and give you some sense of consistency and equilibrium for beginning your days.
Biggest tip: aim for a consistent bedtime and wake up time no matter who is where.
Always start with meditation.
It may be 5 minutes in silence before the kids wake up, or a whole 30 or 60 minutes of guided meditation if you’re alone, but your body will crave this routine.
And your brain will, too.
Once you’ve settled your mind pour into it with something positive. Read.
What better example to set for your babies than to wake to find their mama deep in reflection or reading a book?
Once they come out of their room and find you, cuddle the crap out of them. Kisses. Snuggles. Tell and show them how much you love them and are happy they’re here with you on this day.
If they are at your co-parent’s it can feel deeply lonely on these mornings. Get out and do something that you can’t do when you have them. I love heading to early morning Pilates or hot yoga. Exercise and community. You are not alone.
Nourish yourself and them. Whether that’s a breakfast you share together or a long, nourishing shower post-workout. Do something to set you up for the rest of your day.
Save this post to refer back to.

“Every time I put on mascara my eyes burn.”
A client once told me that.
She was hesitant because of this. But she tried Arbonne’s mascara (with makeup remover at the ready!).
“Wow. This feels great! It doesn’t burn!”
Ingredients matter.
Most waterproof mascaras contain fluorine, which is nicknamed a “forever chemical” because it accumulates in the body.
Parabens are used to increase the shelf life. Google them. It’s not good.
Petroleum by-products.
Coal tar dyes. Ummm… really??
Formaldehyde-releasing ingredients. No, thank you.
Why choose Arbonne’s mascara?
none of the above ingredients
actually they’ve banned 2000+ toxic, or potentially toxic, ingredients
no animal ingredients (aka certified vegan)
not tested on animals (aka certified cruelty-free)
*These are NOT the same thing and some companies pretend they are. Telling you it’s vegan but then it tests on animals. Or that it’s cruelty-free but then animal fat is an ingredient.
It’s gluten-free, for all of you Celiac mamas like me.
It gives beautiful results.
Head to the link in my bio to grab one. I would love to hear your thoughts on it, too.

The secret to TRUE health:
When you think of ‘health’ you tend to think of ‘physical health’.
Exercising daily.
Eating more veggies.
Sleeping 8 hours.
Drinking more water…
That is literally only ONE SEVENTH of the bigger picture.
You must take care of your emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, and occupational health as much as you do your physical.
Why?
Who wants to be in great physical shape and be depressed, anxious, bored, in a relationship that’s draining, disconnected from themselves, loading up on unseen toxins in their products, and in a job they hate?
Umm.. no one.
Let’s focus on ALL areas of our health and wellness.
Give yourself a checkup (rate each category 1-10) and let me know in the comments which one you’re going to focus on first.
