We had so much fun today at our annual Pizzeria Employee Appreciation Picnic! We enjoyed BBQ chicken dinners for lunch, exhilarating games of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Tug-of-War, and Kickball, and raffled off some prizes.
We do not get many opportunities to get everyone together for fun and fellowship outside of the kitchen, so we always look forward to this day. Thank you to all who attended!

We are closed today so our employees can spend the holiday with their families.

Hi,
My name is Alex Shafer. I am one of the three, second-generation owners of The Pizzeria. For the last three years I have been managing our Ottawa store with my cousin Zach, but I have recently transitioned to our Pandora location. I am very excited for this transition and the opportunity to serve the Pandora community!

I was born and raised in Columbus Grove and graduated from CGHS in 2013. After graduation, I attended Rhodes State College majoring in business management. I began working at The Pizzeria in 2009, when I was 15 years old, and became an owner in 2021, along with my brother, Jordan, and cousin, Zach.

My wife, Hope, and I met in 2013 and were married in 2019. We have an 18 month old son named Jaden and are expecting our second child in June! Together as a family, we enjoy spending time outside, watching sports especially the Reds, Buckeyes and Steelers, and enjoy going to the lake in the summer.

Some fun facts about myself are I enjoy playing cards and other games with my family and friends, my favorite pizza is our Taco Pizza, and my favorite part of my job is getting to interact with all of our costumers.

I am excited to be working at our Pandora location and getting to interact with and serve the community. Thank you for your continued support and business. We appreciate you all!
