The end of June brings lots of smiles and celebrations. Thanks to everyone for sharing. My feed has been filled with so much joy 💓 it’s been a wonderful alternative to all the broken 💔 heartedness that has enveloped this big blue ball we call home.🌍 This summer will be about creating for me. I will be trying my best to create more of banana bread baking co. Always trying to get to the next place. My garden is a place of respite and the earth is a wonderful collaborator. I’m always excited when something I’ve planted or a landscaping design I’ve been working on actually works out. 🤞🏻👏🏻
But, you have to know what your strengths and weaknesses are. When I have an idea but I can only take it so far, I call upon someone else to take it further. I bought this little truck planter for ten bucks. A result of my maiden voyage to Hobby Lobby 😍 I knew what I wanted to do with it but also knew it was not in my wheelhouse. So, I reached out to my friend James from Beach & Barn Designs. Told him what I was thinking and he nailed it. Right down to the tall succulent looking like it’s being taken by the wind. 🩷 If you’d like something like this come or your own creation. Come see James at RVC on Sundays. The Garden City Historical Society is hosting their annual Summer Market this Saturday, June 15th. banana bread baking co. will be there. Town of Hempstead Animal Rescue Adoption Vehicle will be there with some furry friends looking for new homes.
