A beautiful ceiling, a piano left untouched, and pictures still hanging on the walls. Beauty remains, in this room. Old calendars on the wall make me think it’s been abandoned since the early ’90s

The former holiday resort, originally established by the renowned chocolate manufacturer Motta, was intended to offer his employees a serene retreat to relax and rejuvenate. Situated on the picturesque shores of one of northern Italy's most enchanting lakes, Mister Motta's vision took shape in the early 20th century.

During this period, Motta's employees delighted in spending their holidays at the resort. However, with the onset of World War II, the complex was repurposed for military purposes. Subsequently, it served various functions for an extended period until the 1990s, after which it gradually fell into disrepair. Regrettably, despite its captivating views of the magnificent lake, the once beautiful holiday camp remains without a new purpose to this day.

The abandoned palazzo conti di L, in decline for many decades. It was built in the 16th century, it was the summer residence of a wealthy family from Asti. Last in the 20th century, the palace was used as a school, and later as a social center, but it eventually fell into disrepair and was abandoned. This beautiful chapel belongs to a big Italian castle. This building was the summer residence from a noble Piedmontese family.

Sadly enough this fantastic palazzo is abandoned for several decades and on this right moment it’s for sale for 1,5 million.

These pictures are taken in the deserted house of a once thriving family business that specialized in road construction. When the lady of the house passed away more than 10 years ago the house was left to fall into disrepair. Today, it stands abandoned and forgotten, a melancholic monument of loss and oblivion.
