BOSSE, Sikkim provides for the diverse academic requirements of a wide range of pupils.

If the student has previously not received any formal schooling, in order to get enrolled in the Secondary Programme, he or she needs to provide proof of Age as well as a certificate attesting to their ability to read and write the language which is their medium of instruction.

We are excited to announce that the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India has granted membership to the Board of Open Schooling & Skill Education (BOSSE). On the grant of the membership, the certificates issued will have equivalence to senior/senior secondary certificates of other member boards across the country.

Some people need to study new subjects which they have not studied earlier - either out of interest or due to the requirements for a profession they want to take up. Part Admission is meant for such people. Under this system, learners are allowed to take admission in one or more subjects but not more than four subjects. On passing, the learner will be issued only the marksheet and no certificate.

BOSSE offers complete freedom to choose subjects and subject combinations at secondary and senior secondary level. Learners are required to opt for at least one language and four more subjects, academic or vocational.
