World RTS Day July 3, 2021. Celebrated to honor the passing of Dr. Rubinstein some years ago. Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that causes a variety of unique abilities in about 2,200 Americans or 1 in 150,000 births worldwide. On July 3rd we choose to celebrate the WONDERFUL life this little girl has and all the joy she brings to each and every person she encounters. Goals for this year are to work on her communication skills, refining some life skills, and try to learn how to skate 👏🏼💗🎀.
As we continue on this non profit journey we have been able to raise awareness for this diagnosis as well as many other rare diseases. We are so excited to show you our new website coming soon- where education and resources will be provided to help families like ours!
- Some goals for MPF this year include *another* adaptive bike giveaway, participating in again in October, and getting City and State recognition for both Rare Disease Day - 2/28 and World RTS Day 7/3 for all the years to come! Thank you for always supporting our causes and showing your love for our girl 🎉🎀.
