The website is officially done. Thanks for helping me clear out inventory. I do have a few things I'll be popping up in my etsy shop eventually. My work schedule is kinda crazy right now, and I do work weekends, but I'll be shipping all open orders on Monday.

Mystery bundles will go live tomorrow, Friday, June 14th, at 5pm central time. These will be deeply discounted and are final sale items. No returns or exchanges will be accepted. It's all good yarn. Some were one-offs or leftovers from previous batches. I'm aiming to have the website completely closed by the end of June.

I've been putting in a lot of hours between my 2 bartending jobs, but I still plan to clear out the rest of my inventory as soon as I can get to it. In the meantime, everything on the website is 30% off with no code needed.

I just pulled out all my active WIPs (minus the scrap blankets). I'm hoping to finish all 3 sweaters this month.

On the bottom is the by which is going to be so lovely to snuggle up in next winter. I'm using my Morella and Incantation colorways along with a long hoarded skein from

The spiderweb yoke is the from .knots using my 'Headless Horseman' colorway along with a ooak for the web.

The crumpled up pieces on the right are 2 of the quadrants for a by I dyed the yarn for this one like 5 years ago when the pattern was released and its taken me less than a month to knit all 4 quadrants now that i finally started it. The pieces need to be blocked and seamed, which is my goal for this weekend.

The are also a DRK pattern. I grabbed a DK sock set from my shop in 'Off With Her Head' and ' Vorpal Sword' for these.

I'm going to miss dyeing yarn, but have so many great garments to remember this chapter in my life.

Today is the last day to shop the dyed to order section of the shop.

Last call for Dyed to Order yarns! I'll leave the listings in both shops up until Friday, April 5th. I'm back to bartending, and with slow yarn sales, I'll be stepping away from dyeing once all orders are filled. I may be back at some point, but I would really like to turn my yarn room back into a guest room for when my boys come visit. I'll be having at least one more shop update before closing up. This will mostly be extras of colorways I want to dye for myself and extras from Dyed to Order sales.

Just popped some Rambouillet Braids into the shop. There's only a dozen available, and I'm not sure if I'll continue to carry this top.

Well, there's no shop update this weekend. This week didn't go quite as planned in the dye lab. I kept popping breakers, and then my utility sink decided it wasn't going to drain. So, I'll try again next week. For now, there's lots of Superwash Merino and Superwash Merino Nylon fiber in the shop.

I love this neutral pairing of Hippogriff and Wi******er 😍 These are heading off to their new home, and I'm told they are destined for a Brioche project. How stunning will that be?!

Today, I'm getting caught up on custom orders. All orders placed up until yesterday will be shipping this week. The 4-6 weeks stated in the listings is a very big over-estimate just in case something comes up. I always have my "core" yarn bases on hand, but my dyeing schedule varies greatly from week to week.

I had some time to play around with non-superwash fibers today as well. These will be available in the next shop update. I'm aiming for this weekend, but I'll give a heads up when the date and time is set. There will be Rambouillet, Targhee, and Falkland wool, all non-superwash/untreated.

Freshly washed and ready to go back into rotation. This is about half of my hand knit sock collection. This year, I'm aiming to grow my holiday (Halloween and Christmas) sock boxes. The stack of sock knitting books will help with that.

'Trespasser Don't Get Cookies!' is knitting up so lovely into a pair of vanilla socks. I love all the bright pops of color against the gray in this colorway.

I've re-opened the Dyed to Order section of the shop. It's still a work in progress, as I have a LOT of colorways to add. You can purchase them on my website or etsy shop. Etsy is going to be the option for international shoppers since shopify has been giving me issues getting listings to show for anyone outside the US. Both sites will have the same colorway and base options, but etsy will be only Dyed to Order. All ready to ship yarn and spinning fiber will remain on the website.

I've been dyeing yarn and fiber for over 13 years now! With hundreds of colorways, it's sometimes a difficult decision which ones to dye for shop updates. On top of all the old favorites, there are so many new combos swirling in my head, which results in overload most of the time. So, I'm going to let YOU choose what hits the dye pot. I'm opening the Dyed to Order section of the shop again this weekend. I plan to offer my "core collection" aka neutrals and tonals in this form going forward. Speckles and variegated will change on a seasonal basis. These will all be available on my website and also in my etsy shop. Etsy is going to be pre-order only.

I'll be making a few changes to the yarn bases I carry as well, but that will be addressed in a future post.
