our health is everything I feel very strongly that everyone deserves access to SAFER products. We have a beautiful line of high-performing, safe products.
And we are also working to make our law regarding the personal care industry more health-protective.

When life feels a bit overwhelming, it is amazing what dusting and vacuuming does to the soul. It’s so grounding. Here’s to starting the week off with a clean house ✌🏽
We were pretty good blueberry pickers
I just wanted to give a big shout out to all the moms out there. Especially moms who have kids that have or
I think from the outside, it may seem like a good one to have if you were to pick which autoimmune disease you would want. You just need to not eat gluten. Pretty simple. Right?
Well, it’s not that simple. A crumb can make them sick for DAYS.
After H was diagnosed in 3rd grade, we met with a nurse who went quickly over the diet with us and his parting words were: “mom, your job is to have him feel as normal as possible while following a 100% gluten free diet” 😳
That phrase really stuck with me. He’s totally right, that is every mother’s job when they find out their kid has celiac disease. But holy moly, that’s a lot of pressure!
I’m creating a course that helps people navigate this world of and eating. I hope to be a resource to people who need to eat this way. How to thrive using real Whole Foods. If you are searching for resources on feeding yourself or your loved ones REAL unprocessed foods that will help heal their bodies, then I’m your girl. ✌🏽
The hopeful father. We brought Aurora to “meet up” with this dude yesterday.
We don’t keep bucks intact on our little farm on purpose. They are smelly + need their own pen. But I have befriended a lovely woman who has a beautiful herd of goats (and knows a ton about them) and she does keep bucks. So I text her when one of our does is in heat and ask if we can swing by. She is always quick to respond which is key because the window can be small. Some goats stay in heat half of a day, some stay in heat a couple days. This is Aurora’s second love connection with this award winning buck🥰 hopefully some kids will be born in five months! 🐐🐐🐐.
Today marks a monumental day. It’s the first time since 1938 that there has been a meaningful change in the law regarding our personal care products.
• Mandatory recall authority: enabling the FDA to act when products cause consumers harm
• Fragrance allergen disclosures for consumers
• Good Manufacturing Practices: which will increase oversight & inspections
• Requirements for safety substantiation: enforcing that brands articulate what ingredients are safe
We have SO far to still go but I am so incredibly proud of all the work we have done to show our legislators that we all demand better. So many emails, texts, and meetings have been had to get to this point in history. Start prioritizing the health of PEOPLE and hold companies accountable to do better.
Thank you to everyone who has hosted a get together to educate loved ones, became a brand ambassador to spread the word, bought safer products (you voted with your money), or sent a text or called your legislators. You helped do this! We did this 🙌🏼
It amazes me how a smell or taste can transport you. When I first started modeling, I spent a ton of time working and living over in Europe. Mostly in Milan and Paris but also London and parts of Germany. There were no Starbucks or to-go cups. You sat and enjoyed your “cafe” before moving on with your day.
I loved the slowness of it. It was our favorite thing to do to pass time between castings. Sitting at a bar and sipping a cappuccino 👏
I recently started making cappuccinos at my house in the morning. I love a little sprinkle of sugar on the top, still.
When I had my first sip this morning, it brought back so many memories ♥️
Is there a taste or smell that brings you back in time? A little smile to your soul?
I spent way too much playing w/the ring lights this morning 😄
They are taking over the middle school this year! 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. All in the same district and school for the first time in three years. Here’s to a great year 🙏🏼
I started working out in an infrared sauna maybe 8 months ago and won’t go back. It may not be for everyone - we are all created so differently - but for me, it’s been pretty life-changing.
What is infrared sauna?🧐
Infrared sauna uses lamps and electromagnetism that have heat-therapy benefits but it doesn’t feel as hot as a traditional sauna. Traditional saunas raise the overall air temperature to as high as 195 degrees Fahrenheit while infrared saunas at the gym are between 123-127 degrees Fahrenheit. I get sweaty but it’s totally tolerable and actually enjoyable.
So, why get hot with infrared?
notes that infrared sauna benefits can include:
Improved heart health: The higher temperature causes a reaction in your body, similar to your body’s reaction to exercise. Your heart rate increases, your blood flow quickens, and you sweat. The result: increased heart health and reduced blood pressure.
Pain relief: Studies have found that infrared sauna treatments can help with both chronic pain and exercise-related pain.
Reduced stress: Just like a warm bath might soothe you after a stressful day, sweating out your stress in an infrared sauna can also help you to relax. Sauna usage is linked to decreased depression, anxiety, and stress, as well as better sleep.
Enhanced immunity: And, of course, with reduced stress and better sleep comes improved immunity—and we’re not just talking immunity against the common cold. Sauna usage also helps individuals to reduce oxidative stress, which can contribute to more serious issues, such as dementia and cancer.
I personally have felt a huge difference in neck pain and overall inflammation, which often is a trigger to my migraines. Whatever pain I go in feeling, I always leave with a deep sense of healing.
Anyone else loving infrared saunas? I know there are so many different home models now available which is exciting.

I've been a health-seeker since my early 20's when I decided to take myself off of all of my daily meds to prevent daily migraines (which weren't working and never did!) and figure out what was CAUSING my chronic pain. I made an appointment with a rehabilitative chiropractor in NYC who literally saved my life. He was the first practitioner to really SEE me and make me feel like there was hope. That I wasn't crazy for believing I didn't have to "learn to live with chronic pain". We initially had 2-3 visits a week in the beginning. He did deep tissue work on my neck and shoulders, taught me how to lift weights to strengthen parts of my body that were ridiculously weak, and ultimately did an overhaul on my lifestyle. I tear up thinking about him and the impact he made on my life. He held so much space for me. By acknowledging how much pain I was in and that "we will figure this out", I had an ally. I, for the first time in my life, had a practitioner who not only understood how debilitating it was but also weaved in so many other modalities to help me heal. And never once gave up. I FELT that. That's what initially got me interested in becoming a holistic health practitioner back in 2007.
The past few years I've been studying like a mad-woman all things gut-health related. I recenlty finished a specialization in my integrative nutrition degree, all related the gut microbiome. Then launched right into another certification focusing on healing the gut w/a gluten allergy/intolerance. Our bodies are so incredibly able to heal themselves when given a fighting chance.
I'm excited to help people with chronic conditions and get their lives back.
