Can you help preserve our borough’s hedgehogs? Enable, the team that runs the local parks, is investigating the health of the local hedgehog population and residents can help by submitting sightings of these lovely little creatures.

You can keep an eye out for them in parks and gardens; they like to live in areas with piles of leaves, logs or compost and under sheds. If you see one, don’t touch it, but send your sighting to Greenspace Information for Greater London at: https://www.gigl.org.uk/submit-records/submit-a-record

🚨Instant Physio Streetside Defib Appeal🚨

Local business, Instant Physio, is leading a campaign to have a streetside defibrillator installed. The importance of quick intervention should someone suffer a Heart Attack or Cardiac Arrest is crucial.

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) or defibrillator is a life saving device that can help save the life of someone experiencing a sudden cardiac arrest.

The campaign is aiming to install one here locally, outside the clinic in Tooting Bec, by raising funds to provide one for the local community.

Thousands of local residents have backed the local campaign to reinstate the Ritherdon Road Left Hand turn. Campaigner, Tom Mytton took the petition to Wandsworth Council to be submitted this evening.

“The reinstatement should have happened last summer but has been delayed without any reason why. Local elected Labour representatives have remained silent. It’s clear this should and can happen and I hope that the council and Transport for London finally listen to residents.”
