***Leatherhead Duck Race Postponed***
Following consultation with the community in Leatherhead and all the partners involved in the event, we have decided to postpone the Duck Race planned for Sunday 8 July.
Unfortunately, the condition of the river, the level of the water being too low and the amount of weeds at that low level, will stop the ducks 'racing' down the river.
We know people will be disappointed, as we are ourselves. The new date for the race, with the kind co-operation of all our volunteers and partners is to be set for September 2018. We are just awaiting a key partner's availability and will then confirm the date.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing everyone in September.
