Poppy Puppy King🐶❤️ Poppy is my favorite reading buddy and one of the best listeners I know! She’s very excited for her sister Mitten to get her own book later this year!

Working on a new project!📖 I like to keep a small notebook with me so I can write down ideas for my stories wherever I am. I then organize the notes in my big notebook before typing it out on my laptop! Fun fact I found my desk by the dumpster of my old apartment! I absolutely love it and I’m so glad I was able to reuse it for my writing.

Snowy days are perfect for curling up with a good book! And to use the beautiful handmade quilt my grandma made for my husband and I☃️❄️

One of my favorite things about Christmastime is reading Christmas books💚 I wonder if Mitten will get her own story soon…🤔😸🎄

The adorable kitten in A Smile for Sunny is based on my real life cat Violet. Her friendship is what moved me to write this story a few months after she passed away. There was not a truer friend than Violet and I am so proud that now she can always be remembered. Books have always been my constant companions and I think its only fitting that my best friend gets her own.

Anna has been an avid reader her whole life and has had the bad habit of reading at the dinner table since age six. When a book isn’t readily available, the backs of cereal boxes are her second choice. Anna’s love for animals and their impact on our lives inspired her to write her first children’s book. Anna lives in the Midwest with her cat Mitten, dog Poppy, and loving husband Brent.
