Following the ABCs of safe sleep—alone, on their back, and in a crib—does not mean you can't keep your little ones close. Consider placing a bassinet in your room during the first few months when your baby needs to be fed throughout the night. Room sharing is an easy way to be within arm’s reach without compromising your child’s safety by bed-sharing.

Car seats are designed to snap into a vehicle base or a stroller – not a shopping cart. The baby is at risk of falling from a shopping cart and the car seat could be damaged in a mishap. Instead, you can place the car seat in the shopping cart or wear the baby, but never put the car seat on top of the shopping cart.

According to the CDC, drowning is the leading cause of death among children 1–4 years old. But drowning is preventable.
Did you know that 70% of toddler drownings happen during non-swim times? This alarming statistic highlights the importance of water safety awareness, even when no one is supposed to be in the water.
We understand that it's impossible to keep eyes on your child at all times, and this is why the 5 Layers of Protection are crucial.
Children are naturally curious and often explore their surroundings without recognizing potential dangers. Pools, ponds, and other bodies of water can attract their attention, making it essential for families to implement multiple layers of protection.
Safety measures, such as barriers & alarms, active supervision, water competency, life jackets when in or around open water, and emergency preparation, can significantly reduce the risk of tragic incidents.
Drowning is preventable. Learn more about our 5 Layers of Protection at our website.
