Inspirational Owls

I make & sew owls with inspirational names in loving memory of my sister Debbie. She loved owls and was an inspiration in so many ways.

INSPIRATIONAL OWLS:
I began making and sewing my Inspirational Owls after my sister Debbie died suddenly and unexpectedly from cancer in 2011. She was many things to many people but most of all loving, kind, selfless, compassionate, generous and peaceful. Making and selling my owls over the years has become an incredible source of healing and joy for me as I am able to talk about her at events, sh

are her story and meet such wonderful people, many of whom have unfortunately been touched by cancer, suffering or have lost someone as well and find comfort, peace or happiness in choosing an owl either for themselves or others. I also make them for anyone who loves owls! I have themes, designs & fabrics that appeal to babies, children, teens and adults! My shows are typically on the west side of Cleveland. I have been in craft shows in Rocky River, Avon, North Olmsted, Berea, Parma and the surrounding areas. I thoroughly enjoy the entire process from selecting unique fabrics and deciding on each one’s theme and design to choosing a fitting name like Hope, Dream, Love etc... that I put on their tags. I do bring extra tags to events in case anyone chooses an owl but prefers a different name that would fit their specific needs. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of the compliments, kind words, hugs and stories I have heard from so many of you. I am also endlessly grateful for the love and support that I have received since being diagnosed myself with a brain tumor in 2016, undergoing Gamma Knife Radiosurgery in 2017 and as of this year having it finally be stable. I always bring new fabrics, unique designs and themes to each craft show with no two alike at any show! I have found the creative process to be incredibly therapeutic in so many ways. Each event is special to me and I am always excited to hear who you’re buying your owl for and the occasion. Each one is made with love and all of the beautiful, positive & inspirational energy I witnessed, experienced and remember from my sister. This is my newest owl design made for my beautiful daughter Alyssa's birthday (yesterday) using the same lace I sewed on her wedding dress.
The owl's inspirational name is: Serenity.

Thank you so much to all of the wonderful people who came out to the show this weekend, bought an owl & shared your heartfelt stories with me. I was so touched by the enthusiastic compliments & joy. A special thanks to my beautiful, amazing daughter Alyssa, who is a constant source of encouragement, love & support and helps me at all my shows! Hello Everyone! I apologize for not being able to take any Owl orders this Spring. As I have shared with some of you, I received treatment for my second brain tumor in May. I won't be taking any orders for this year but will be at The Berea Midpark Craft Show October 15th & 16th with an amazing assortment of new fabrics & designs, popular favorites, seasonal and holiday Owls! I look forward to seeing you there! ❤️🦉
