Zia means “Aunt” in Italian, and that’s me. 1/2 Italian 1/2 Irish and all Foodie. I started this while cooking for my Nephew and Niece who are almost 2 1/2 years and 1 1/2 years old respectively. Yup 1 year apart “Irish twins” (and my sister is the Italian/German one – go figure). Zias Monkeys have moved back in with me! So Gluten Free Easter pancakes by request. Working on my artistic food creations....not my strength so it’s a work in progress. Kiddos loved them so that’s a success! Thanks Bisquick for the amazing GF pancake mix!

1. I’m related to the Olivieri family of Pat’s steak (at the corner of Cheesesteak Vegas) but I have never had one
2. Johns Roast Pork is a James Beard award winning one - I gotta try one.
3. As a local I have been a Jim’s Steaks girl my entire life and am never disappointed
4. I have never had a Cheesesteak “Wit Whiz” - (which is something I shouldn’t admit out loud as a Philly Girl).
5. Obviously these a NOT Gluten Free so I only indulge about 2 times a year.

Little dude is getting bigger and more interested in helping Zia in the kitchen and trying new things. He helped me make the Cinnamon Port Cranberries and an herb compound butter to rub on the turkey! 🦃 then he gobbled up fresh arepas stuffed with cheese! Delish!
