Michigan Area 1 of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.
Michigan Area 1 is home to Beta Omicron, Beta Pi, Beta Omega, Epsilon Pi, Zeta Lambda, & Zeta Phi Un It was comprised of 7 chapters and 3 states.
Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated was already home to two Michigan Chapters, Beta Omicron at the University of Michigan and Beta Pi at Eastern Michigan University, both chapters were founded in the Spring of 2000. At the time of their establishment, the chapters were a part of the Connecticut Area. Upon the founding of the Beta Omega Chapter at Wayne State University in the Spring of
2001, as well as 3 new chapters in Illinois and 1 chapter in Tennessee, the organization then expanded giving Michigan its own area that following academic year, establishing Michigan Area One in the Fall 2001 semester. The following year in 2002, it grew to 4 states adding Wisconsin and 8 chapters. Eventually, Illinois would grow and become its own area with Wisconsin. Today, Michigan is comprised of the following chapters:
