The Wendover Rotary Duck Race is Back!!! 🦆
On Sunday 29th October we shall be racing ducks along Heron Stream, whatever the weather.
Tickets can be purchased from any member of the Rotary Club of Wendover & District or from
J Brown Funeral Services, 23 High Street, Wendover.
Classic Duck Race 2pm
Ducks for the classic duck race are £2 each. The classic duck race will see up to 400 little yellow plastic ducks propelled down stream with a fantastic £50 prize for the owner of the winning duck (2nd place £25, 3rd place £10)
Business Duck Race 2.30pm
Ducks for the Business Race are £15 each or £10 if you purchased a duck last year. Business Ducks are twice the size of the classic ducks and we invite you to decorate your duck as you see fit (using environmentally friendly paints of course). The owner of the winning duck will receive 9 bottles of wine (2nd place 6 bottles, 3rd place 3 bottles)
Rotary Duck Race 3pm
An extra race this year supported by other Rotary clubs. . The owner of the winning duck will receive 9 bottles of wine (2nd place 6 bottles, 3rd place 3 bottles)

Today PC Boyes (P1749) & PC Perry (P8367) from the Taskforce attended the Windsor Great Park, where they met with the Crown Estate Team (wardens & game keepers). 👑 Plans to conduct joint targeted patrols have been made. 🚔 🚨

Over the last 2 days the NH team have been at Amersham Tesco, The Rowan Garden Centre and Memorial Hall in Chalfont St Giles conducting 'Have your say' meetings and a well being event. Unfortunately the planned event in Gt Missenden had to be cancelled at short notice.
