In 2010, a 4 day business trip to Yemen, one of the most magical countries I’ve seen with its beautiful people and nature. Big green mountain trails, infused rich flavored food, and its cultural depth makes Aden, and new and old Sanaa city an 18th century gem with handmade rock built pottery castle (Beit Al Hajar) and cloudless smiley atmosphere across all seasons. And of course their famous traditional Ghat natural grass which had them navigate throughout these miserable times of rurally. Today, Yemen stands helpless and deconstructed with more than 80% of its population and slowly dying due to geopolitical greeds leaving no value to humanity. I hope one day i will be able to visit this country again and have that Chibani bread with honey glazed shrimp matfi pot!
