Black River Kings

Pine Barrens grit the Jersey Devil would drink to. The Black River Kings are a six-piece Americana band from the Pine Barrens of South Jersey.

Guitars, banjo, harp, saxophone, mandolin, bass and drums, and three-part harmonies fill out the typical BRK song, while the overall vibe has a gritty swagger. The songs of the BRK are distinct, yet hauntingly familiar, generally eliciting the “I think I’ve heard this before, but I don’t remember where” feeling. The Black River Kings get it done.
