East Hampshire Liberal Democrats are proud to be representing you at East Hampshire District Council. We celebrated the end of our first year of this term with an annual general meeting at Alton Maltings yesterday. East Hampshire Lib Dems will continue to push for better recycling and waste disposal, more affordable housing and actionable steps to tackle the climate crisis in the district.

Very proud to have helped the Alton Maltings centre to get these bike racks in place.

Alton cyclists have a safe place to lock up their bikes thanks to new racks paid for in part by councillor grants from four local councillors.

Cllr Emily Young, Cllr Barbara Tansey, Cllr Warren Moore and Cllr Steve Hunt donated £3,000 between them to pay for the bike racks outside the Maltings Centre. Cllrs Young, Tansey and Moore are pictured here with Karen Patrick of Alton Maltings.

They have already proved very popular with people using the centre who now have somewhere to secure their bicycles.
