Welcome!💙 It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself.. I’m Angie and have always loved everything home.💙
When my 3-year old self was asked, ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’ on a local Saturday morning TV show my friends and I were on, I said, ‘a maid!’🧹(They wanted to be dinosaurs!🦖)
While the cleaning part I tolerate, I realized what I loved was the✨making things look better in general✨part!
I grew up watching my parents rearrange furniture and change up the decor whether it was an old table from an antique store or a new print they found and had framed. I’d follow suit in my own bedroom by moving the furniture around or organizing my closet pretty much weekly. 😅 It was quite the thrill to walk in and see a whole new set up!
Also I loved watching my parents draw out home designs which they were in the process of doing for a home they were building my senior year in high school. As college grew near, I had ‘home’ on my mind so I thought - maybe I’ll be an architect.🤔 Clemson had a great architect program so I interviewed, was accepted 🎉…. and then changed to marketing the first day 🫠 because for one, it was “easier.” What was I thinking?! I thought years later! Over time I got over it but …
I now see how where I ended up landing (organizing!) is an integral part of that look and feel good part of making a house into a home.🏡 Clutter and lack of systems can make even the most beautiful homes (and lives) look and feel chaotic!
The function part didn’t come naturally to me but I learned out of necessity how to make my organizing attempts last when running my first business — and WOW did it make a difference! That’s when function and aesthetics beautifully came together and I realized this is where I was meant to be.🤍
Now I feel like I get the best of both: making things LOOK better but also FUNCTION + FEEL better!
So that’s a behind the scenes glimpse of what brought me here. I just wanted to say thank YOU for being here with me! I’m grateful to be a part of this home + life* journey together!
*BTW, I throw in life parts here and there because when life is looking, functioning + feeling pretty good that helps!)
2️⃣0️⃣ years old today!🎉 Not sure how because you were just a baby a bit ago!! 💙Wishing you the happiest of birthdays Alexander💕🎉Could not love you more!💙
Wow I can relate to this! Tony award-winning actor and writer, Sarah Jones is talking with Marie Forleo about finding what actually sparks excitement in you:
“There’s a lot of life that for me is self organizing, and I resisted that for years because I was like, ‘I have to do this!’
I would give myself my own to do list, my own priority list but really my instinct, whatever you want to call that - your higher self - I think we all have that still, small voice. The voice that’s your GPS, your greater positioning system that’s helping you find, ‘Ok somebody’s pulling me in this direction but actually I can really feel what I want is over here,’ and even if it’s not the sexy choice or the one that’s going to make me look good I find that ✨the more I am worried about my self image and not focusing on my true self I get lost.”✨
Perfect timing for the Vision Workshop just added inside the YLO Insider Membership 💫Listening to not going against that inner voice is everything.💛
Here are a few tips to elevate your bathroom inspired by this ✨gorgeous✨one by -

When reading how to’s from anything from running a smooth home project (or home in general for that matter) to a successful business, it’s interesting but not surprising how often “being organized” makes the list.
In House Beautiful’s December 2022 edition, the Renovation Checklist by Laura Fenton includes several familiar concepts including:
# 1 : MAKE A WISH LIST: I’m big on keeping a Wish List for things you’d love to bring in: Inside my YLO Membership was just talking about having one for home and another for wardrobe (+ for other less tangible things but that’s another post!)
# 2 : BATCH THE WORK: According to Fenton, “Doing things all at once is way more efficient.” A popular productivity concept that I can vouch for. Not only does batching save time, it can save money and lesson disruption in your life.
# 5 : GET ORGANIZED: Fenton shares, “That inventory spreadsheet should be set up BEFORE you go out to find a general contractor, says Kate Smith, who notes that busy builders ‘want to take on people who are serious and have it together.’ She suggests setting up a separate email address just for your project and says get everything including all bids in writing. Contractors are much more likely to call or text throughout the day as issues arise, but Smith says to follow up in writing too: Reiterate what change was discussed, the timeline quoted, and the cost changes.
# 8 : DECIDE IF IT’S WORTH IT: Here, Fenton was referring to if you’re “on the fence about whether to renovate or relocate, choose based on your life, rather than your finances alone.” She also notes that mosts renovations won’t recoup initial costs.
I’ll add to “DECIDE OF IT’S WORTH IT” when it comes to bringing anything in to your home, wardrobe, calendar, life. ✨Make sure it’s worth the time, money and / or energy it will take!✨
✨Eliminating packaging + containing consistently can make such a nice difference!✨
And a less stressed one!🖤
We are organizing + elevating our closets this month in my YLO Insider membership and I came across this quote in one of my favorite style books when doing a little prep work.
Love when others recognize the power of organization!🤍🤍🤍
There are many new faces here so wanted to take a minute to say I’m SO glad you are here 😍 and share what you’ll find on this Instagram page:
1️⃣ Creating an environment that BEAUTIFULLY supports…
because it needs to WORK beautifully (top priority) but also we want it to BE beautiful
2️⃣… your BEST you.
because clearing away clutter and creating space for what we truly want is where more of the joy, true contentment - and magic!
✨And there’s a specific way I help you tap into that magic in 1 + 2:
3️⃣ SPACE Shifting. There are nuances depending on what you’re applying it to but each of SPACE Shifting’s five steps has vital pieces and when they work together = powerful results. Sometimes you experience these results immediately and other times they’re revealed through a shift over time.
I break away from these three content pillars here and there in IG stories - my creative self has to break the rules on occasion😆 - but overall that’s what you’ll find on my IG (as well as my membership, coaching and in-person organizing:)
Thank you for being here!💗
Xoxo,
Angie
Happy (day after!) 💓💓💓 I was organizing for a client all day yesterday 😍 and too tired to post last night 😴 but wanted to recognize this what should be a national holiday! Can you imagine how much more peaceful the world would be if everyone took the time to clear the clutter and organize their spaces?!
While organizing may not be the solution to everything, it sure does make life easier.💜 AND make things look so much better!
Haven’t been doing my in a while because I just haven’t been scrolling IG as much (forcing myself to stay focused on other work stuff 🙈!) but thought today would be a good time to share a few of the many organizers I look to for organizing (& life:) inspo 🤩
Making space is a practice that gets easier the more you practice it!
This is how SPACE Shifting™ helps me find and protect space.
Btw has been an integral part in helping me use that space to hear what I need to hear most (✨my intuition✨🙏💛) Thank you, Laura 💛
I 🤍 the streamlined simplicity + functionality of these clear containers from ✨
They work beautifully
✨alone
✨side by side
✨stacked, or
✨layered within bigger pieces from their collection.
With the above exceptions, I personally am NOT a liner lover. Liners typically shift around which can be annoying and I’ve seen various kinds (not just the stick on) damage shelving it’s there to protect.
Plus liners have to be cleaned too so I’d rather just clean the shelf! Or the container holding the items.
What about you? Do you line? Let me know in the comments below! ⬇️
⚠️One year of our lives! ⏳According to National Association of Professional Organizers, that’s how much time we spend on average looking for lost or misplaced items.
And in the workplace, a typical executive wastes 150 hours a year, almost one month, looking for lost items / docs according to Forbes ASAP. That’s money lost and time that could be better spent on bigger opportunities 💴 OR or enjoying time outside of work.🏖️
But time lost isn’t the only consequence. ➡️ The amount of STRESS brought on by not being able to locate what you need + the repercussion of being held up in the search.🤯
In a study by Pixie:
❎ 60% of people have been late to work / school
❎ 49% have missed meetings or appointments, and
❎ 22% have missed a bus, train or flight
…because of being held up in the search.
✨Organizing your spaces not only makes things LOOK so much better, it makes life at home and at work or school, EASIER.✨
WHAT’S THE SOLUTION? ➡️ Give items a DESIGNATED home so you know exactly where to find it when you need it + where to put it away when you’re done with.
If you’re still misplacing certain items, consider adding on a tracker / locator. (e.g., AirTag, Tile, Pixie)
QUESTION: What item do you misplace most often? I’d love to hear in comments below!
💗
Glimpse into one space from another:
I love how Tracey at made this room off the kitchen a beautiful transition✨
TIP: As you walk through your home, notice the glimpses you get when passing by other spaces. ✨A little extra styling can make a nice difference!✨

Today my oldest heads to Argentina for school.. feeling like I'm sending him off to college again for the first time!
Trying to channel my unexpected emotions 😭 + while simultaneously wrapping up YLO Insider (doors close 3/1!) so here’s what I have:
The 1st is in regards to a Q I often get from parents. The 2nd, a valuable addition I’ll add:
#1: Helping your kids get organized
There are definitely specific ways you can help bring this skill (most of us are not naturally “born” with) into their lives. Can be easier if starting when little but by no means a lost cause if older! I'll go into specifics in YLO Insider (Kid Friendly parts each month) but the BIGGEST IMPACT MADE is made by watching YOU.
If we want our kids to be more on top of stuff at home + life, WE need to make sure we're doing it too. They are soaking it in more than we realize!🫣
#2: Helping kids navigate the real world:
There's a lot of “not feeling so great” happening when parenting (regardless of how much order brought into mix!) but what’s so satisfying- watching them navigate independently. as you let go. Even though they may not be doing in the way you would 😑 For example, you’re 21-yo finding a place to stay in Argentina when (not before) he gets there 😫🥵.
I've had to remind myself, he got into SC's International Business School on his own, he'll figure this out.
TAKE AWAY:
1️⃣ Lead the way in creating and running an organized home + life. BONUS: It can even rub off on spouses / partners that act like children!
2️⃣ Help them set up their own spaces and build routines into their day / week to set them up for success.
3️⃣ Trust and have faith (throwing in 🙏 along the way!) that as you let go, your kids will be okay, even if it means they have to learn some stuff the hard way.
⭐️BTW, numbers 1 + 2 make 3 easier!!⭐️
If you want help with the first two, join YLO Insider I'll guide you (& show you how to share it with your kids if you have them:) in the YLO Insider. ‼️Doors close TOMORROW, March 1st! ‼️🤍Link in bio 🤍
📸 And if anyone has suggestions on how to get your child to send pics while gone lmk! Not nearly as active with camera as their mom!🙄😆❤️

Fun to see how others organize + style their shelves. Particularly fond of this set up by 💗 Happy Friday y’all 💕
My CREATIVE PROCESS: how I organize my notes:
While I love digitally managing my biz-related to do’s + overall project list, at times I find digital too cumbersome. Especially during a project’s creative process (brainstorming + pulling together of ideas).
EXAMPLE: I’m launching something shortly that has a ton of different logistical and creative components. It has me pulling together everything I’ve learned over the years - from my organizing + productivity training, years client work, years + years of life work, and favorite resources.
Exciting but could easily become overwhelming if my notes weren’t organized in this way:
What you’ll need + how to do it:
✅ SUPPLIES: clipboard, paper, pen / pencil, favorite marker
STEPS:
✨Using marker, write the different categories of your project at bottom of each page
✨Keep together on clipboard (2nd pic) jotting down notes on relevant page as needed
✨If an idea pops into your head while away, put into note on phone + transfer when back
💕I love because pen to paper format keeps the creative ideas flowing. And when pulling project together, you’ll have all the ideas organized by category!💕
OTHER BENEFITS:
✨Keeps ideas in ONE place
✨Organizes categories + subcategories
✨Provides overall layout visual (when tiered - 1st pic)
✨Inexpensive (paper, pen, clipboard!)
✨Simple to use (which means I’ll use it!)
✨Can style it - love my acrylic clipboard from
As with anything, MAKE YOUR OWN! Be open to / try out new things but then go with what works best for YOU.❤️
Streamline + elevate your bath / shower experience with nice looking shampoo and conditioner dispensers.
The 2nd pic isn’t bad but when we changed these out in recent project it was an immediate upgrade.🤩
✨TIP: Add these to guest bath to beautifully welcome visitors✨
love this children’s space set up by ✨ I’m sharing more favorites - from👗fashionista organizing to🎁easy to use / easy to hide wrapping organizer in today’s stories.✨
✨PRO TIP✨ organize where it would make the biggest impact - like this bathroom drawer that’s used daily.
Eventually you’ll want to declutter / organize ALL of your spaces - but little places like this are a good start because you’ll experience the benefits immediately.🤩
And immediate satisfaction is great for building momentum! 🙌
Me staring at phone waiting for 11:11 🔮 + 9 more .. couldn’t resist this AI trend.✨
It can be fun to play make believe, and can be fun to see what actually happens.✨
Make sure your destiny is a really, really good one! And enjoy the journey while you’re at it.💕💕
✨Yes!✨Yes!✨Yes! ✨And to this quote from Rob:
“You have to design the life you want. Have a plan, write it down. I do believe you have to get yourself ready for it to happen effectively, because at the end of the day it’ll boil down to your own deep personal SELF AWARENESS of what it is you actually want out of life… what will actually make you happy.”
The holistic approach is so vital.🤍 And as the above relates SPACE Shifting™:
◽️Step 1: Surroundings Assessment - What’s working? What’s not?
🎁 gift of Step 1: AWARENESS
◽️ Step 2: Preferences- what you truly want
🎁 gift of Step 2: CLARITY
(See previous post for all five SPACE Shifting™ steps.)
And check out latest for more from
+
I have it cued up to play later .. can’t wait xo 💕💕
Boundaries are essential to organizing (designing!) a life you love. When you have✨CLARITY✨on what matters most (one of the many benefits SPACE Shifting™ Step 2: Preferences) you are able to set boundaries from the heart.
And when you operate from your heart, which to me is ALIGNMENT, there’s more ease and confidence in everything your do. Boundary setting included!💕
… or at least trust that down the road you’ll be really thankful that _____ (fill in the blank) did NOT work out the way you thought you wanted it to.
Chances are you’ll be grateful! Speaking from experience.💕
✨Changing up your environment can be a creative and fun way to motivate + spark creativity for both adults AND kids!✨
As we move into the new season, it’s the perfect time to elevate your workspace (and their HOMEwork spaces).
I 🤍 acrylic organizing products and carries some of MY workspace favorites!🤩
Just saw this and had to pass along…
✨This acrylic collator + valet is 40% off today and other items are 25% through tomorrow.✨

I shared the following quote on my IG story over the weekend: “Stick with the people who pull the magic out of you and not the madness.” .. I love it but also thought - well sure it SOUNDS great but decluttering your LIFE isn’t always as easy as a nice sounding quote like this one makes it sound.
Even organizing your HOMR can be overwhelming when you first start off or are feeling stuck along the way.
Speaking from experience with both, here are two things to keep in mind when tackling ANY kind of clutter:
✅ Remember to take it one day at a time … step by step at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
✅ Get help if you’re feeling stuck or want to speed up the process. Find a good therapist for heavier life stuff or a professional organizer* for decluttering and organizing your spaces.
Regardless if you bring in some help or DIY just know that ✨little steps in the right direction will make such a BIF SHIFT in the long run.✨
It’s 1000% worth it. You’ll look back and see!💕💕💕
* If you’re needing help in the organizing department, I can help if you’re in Jacksonville, Florida or upstate South Carolina, and if you’re elsewhere, I know some great organizers I can recommend.
My current services include:
✨ getting your home and kids optimally set up for back to school
✨ setting up a fabulous workspace for yourself
✨ prepping for a move - or getting new home beautifully set up after a move
✨ OR make your existing home feel like a new one:)
DM me for more info.

PS. Look out for more on my SPACE Shifting method - 5 steps to help you up level anything….. If you don’t even know where to begin, next week I’ll show you how to use these 5 steps on ONE particular place I’d recommend starting with. 🥰😘
About to post my Friday Favorites on IG stories sand thought - this is one I need to post on feed. These gorgeous cake stands and stemware are from 💜🧡💛💚💙
Known as “jewels for your table” these pieces have a vintage yet modern feel.
✨And I LOVE the inspiration behind the brand .. Inspired by founder Stephanie Summerson Hall’s grandmother Estelle who loved antiquing. She had a designated day of the week to visit favorite shops in South Carolina (my home state😍). Stephanie would get to tag along some days and that’s how she fell in love with.✨
I tend to be attracted to white towels, plain stemware but am thinking maybe I need to change things up!🤔😍
Happy Friday y’all!💜🧡💛
This post was inspired by my lack of willpower at the very end of Amazon Prime Day late night last night.😆
Basically I’d made some last minute purchases but didn’t feel too terrible because they were ✨intentional.✨
HOW DO I GET INTENTIONAL? I have gotten pretty darn clear on my Preferences (SPACE Shifting™ step 2:) … what I love, what I don’t, what I’m drawn to would love to have.
Then add it to my …
⭐️WISH LIST⭐️
I keep a running list of stuff I’d love to have or need. That way, when I come across something, if it’s on my wish list I’ll typically get if I it’s in my budget. (Waiting for my budget to allow my future white Range Rover!🤩)
👧KID FRIENDLY!👦 btw this is a GREAT thing to do with your kids! It helps them prioritize what they really want.
So, as long as you:
🛍 love it, or
🛍 truly need it, and
🛍 it fits into the budget…
go for it!
‼️ AND MAKE SURE YOU DESIGNATE A HOME FOR IT WHEN IT ARRIVES‼️😍🥰😘
While I love plush white towels, an assortment of colors is ideal when you have several people using the same bathroom… My mom had these made for the upstairs bath we share when visiting! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
If you have guests that visit on an ongoing basis, monogrammed towels in different colors have worked great for us.
You can let each person pick their own color. OR NOT if you foresee it turning into a 2-people-wanting-same-color situation!😆
TIP: Add in hooks that blend well with space so that:
✅ each towel has a designated spot when I’m use, and
✅ will still look good when towels put away.
💚💛🧡💜💙❤️
Today would've been my 26th wedding anniversary 😳 (btw that my dad + me in pic, not my ex!)
Looking back then comparing to where I am today I'm like, “Wow, what a different person I am now.”
And then I thought, “What a different person I am from when I became single again nine years ago!”
And even a year ago for that matter!
While there were very lovable things about each of those me's (+ surely no unlovable parts;), it's really nice to be able to witness the evolution over time.
Two of my own evolution favorites:
❤️ this PEACEFUL JOY I feel overall (NOT all the time, but overall which I'll take!)
❤️ the FREEDOM I feel* (in various ways)
What's helped me in this evolution process?
You may have guessed it - my SPACE Shifting™ method. In my last post I showed how I used Step 5: Evaluate, in my fridge. Here, I’ll share a quick glimpse of how I use Steps 1-3 with my life in general.
STEP 1: Surroundings Assessment: Getting real on what's working 😍 / what's not 😫
STEP 2: Preferences: Getting clear on what you truly want 🤩 - including how you want to FEEL - my evolution favorites both are feelings not things which was cool to notice when I was thinking about earlier 🥰
STEP 3: Action: Take action to ✨SHIFT✨ from where you are now (S) to where you want to be (P):
✨ Making both big AND day to day decisions based on your P
✨ Clearing clutter (of all kinds!) that you've pinpointed in S
✨ And sometimes the action is simply letting go and trusting you'll get that spark* when you're meant to receive it
[SPARK: That's what I call those ideas, people, opportunities, books etc. that seem to magically come into your life when you're meant to receive it…. I like to think of it as when that higher power (God, the Universe or whatever you believe) + your intuition are working together]
Using SPACE Shifting™, you're combining AWARENESS with INTENTIONAL ACTION
… and the shifts you'll experience can (literally!) be life changing in the best of ways.
Life doesn't always go the way we think or hope it will. But that can be ok - or better than ok.❤️
————
* freedom - not referring to my ex who’s a good dad & glad to call friend :)
I just shared in my newsletter a little life update and how I'm leaning into my own advice — it's a dance between MAKING things happen + LETTING things happen.
While the latter can be tough, rituals like this one I'm doing today GIVE INTENTION to the letting go …. both the letting go of the clutter that's holding us back AND letting go of trying to control every outcome.
✨When we can truly let go, we OPEN UP SPACE.✨ Immediately we can feel lighter and energetically we're making room for better to come in. (This may sound like fluff I know but after experiencing it time after time I know the power of it.)
☀️Summer Solstice Ritual☀️
What you'll need:
☀️ some kind of fire🔥 element representing the sun … bonfire, candles, or the actual sun …. high in the sky or as it's setting
☀️ 2 pieces of paper 📝 + something to write with
☀️ lighter + burn-friendly receptacle (like a metal or glass bowl bowls - or bonfire / fire pit / fireplace)
Directions: (This is what I do but of course feel free to make your own!)
1. Get comfortable - preferably outside (I like to do in nature even if I'm just stepping out on the patio)
2. On one page, write down INTENTIONS for the upcoming season.
3. On the other, write down the LIFE CLUTTER you'd like to let go of.
4. Keep your written intentions in a place you can refer to throughout the season.
4. With the other list, take a few deep breaths, say a favorite mantra or prayer and (safely!) burn in the bonfire, fireplace or fireproof bowl.
5. As it burns, try to energetically feel the letting go of …. with each breath out, release the clutter that's holding you back.
⭐️VALUE OF⭐️ I have found that rituals like this shake me out of autopilot + open me up to what I need to hear, all while helping me regroup and get grounded.🧘♀️
AND it's just a fun way to add a little spark to life - one that can really light things up if you allow it!💫
