Had a great weekend up in Penrith opposite Newton Rigg laying 80m of hedge in the Westmorland and Lancs style. Peter Gibson and Joe Craig did a fantastic job guiding us 10 newbies, and we all got the hang of it by the end of the 2nd day. Despite the bit of snow on the first day we all got stuck in.
Even with the multiple thorns in our hands, looking forward to getting stuck in for the coming years and heading to the nationals to see more professionals and maybe even take part ourselves!

Good job done there for Gosforth School. Managing and maintaining healthy trees and keeping them safe for the kids, as well as promoting healthy growth for the years to come!
