Reading your comments and posts about the new song is meaningful.

As musicians and artists it’s become the norm to contrive our posting in favor of the algorithm. Needless to say the focus is not on truth or humanity, just anything to get noticed. That culture is turning me off when it comes to sharing things publicly.. I’m gonna keep leaning for what is real here on social media for now.

I wrote this song with a profound truth in mind.. Something I learned through my own suffering. We are all born free and the cage is constructed gradually in our minds.

I asked my friend Michael Sanders to get some shots of me, as I’m preparing to release a single. I’d hoped we’d get a good image to use as artwork for the new song, and I think we did. Michael had the idea to shoot through a window, so we experimented with that.
