It is our mission to make the outdoor life a family affair, to add a women's touch to a mans world and to become the women our men enjoy taking along! My name is Rossie Ansolabehere and I am a wife of 13 years to my best friend, Phil and homeschooling mama to 6 little blessings!! God has taken our family on many amazing journeys. 13 years ago, when I married Phil, I never could have imagined that
I would have 6 children and live in small town USA! I am and would be nothing without His grace and mercy on me. My husband, Phil, is my hero! He humors me in all my crazy ideas and never once has he suggested that they might be just that...CRAZY! My children are the air I breathe...literally!! I have homeschooled from day one and am here with them 24/7, and I still love hanging out with them. They amaze me every day, and I am beyond blessed to have them. Never have I had someone believe in me so much that I could think, yeah, maybe I have something to offer...maybe I am kinda cool. I might be the weirdest person in the world, but he makes me feel like I am super COOL!! He is the mind behind almost every idea...he really is a brilliant man!! His love and passion for hunting can't help but rub off...he is a talented scout and is responsible for both Phil and my buck this year!! My mom is a dance instructor and photographer, and has taught me to see beauty in everyone and everything. She somehow knows how to make everyone feel special. She taught me to work hard, do it well and do it with a smile on your face. She is 50 and able to do the spitz...with a smile mind you! My stepdad, Roger, took me hunting for the first time when I was 12. He taught me that if you are going to shoot it, you had better be ready to gut, skin and butcher it! My stepdad, Russel, who has provided to us the most beautiful country on which to hunt!! My dad, a fabulous artist, taught me how to make everything unique. How to put "my individual mark" on everything. He taught me fabulous work ethic and that you should never give up. When one thing doesn't work, don't quit...just move on to bigger and better. So...that is exactly what I am going to do. I am going to just keep moving. I am going to leave a mark on the journey I call life. Life, right now, is HUNTING...CAMO...and GUNS!! Each member in my family plays a part. Gabrielle knits the hats and scarves we wear while hunting, the boys are learning leather for sheaths and gun slings, all our children are learning gun safety and how to use several different mouth calls. Phil, the leader of the pack, leads us all
