Hasil Foundation aims to fight malnutrition and work on food security in Pakistan. PHASE 2: To develop a sustainable soup kitchen for impoverished localities.
VISION OF HASIL
PHASE 1: To identify Kachi Abaadis (under developed sites) of Pakistan and provide good quality food to improve the day to day living standards of the residents. The kitchen would be run by the locals for the locals. The idea is to launch an empowerment program through the soup kitchen. HASIL FOUNDATION - Ramzan Project 15
After providing 5.75 million meals, impacting 26,000 lives over 14 years this year by the Grace of Allah we are back with Ramzan Project 15.
This Ramzan let’s once again help 400 impoverished families living in the urban slums in Lahore, fight hunger. The selected families will be provided ration.
To feed a family of 6 for 30 days of Ramzan it costs ONLY= Rs. 10,000

“Healthy foods, healthy kids” Project:
Fighting malnourishment in children seeking education.
Children belonging to low-income households usually have a lot of nutritional deficiencies. But in such situations it is difficult for the students to retain the knowledge they receive in schools.
Hasil Foundation, therefore, has partnered with SEPP to run this project in their school for low-income students, Swiss Model High School, Lahore, Pakistan.
We require your help to fund their everyday breakfasts and lunches, to fulfill their nutritional needs and in turn provide a better learning experience at school.

Hasil foundation launches its “Healthy food, healthy kids” project in collaboration with Swiss Educational Project Pakistan (SEPP).
The 187 students of Swiss Model School, Lahore, will be given free breakfast and lunch everyday in school for 6 months, after assessing their dietary needs through a nutritionist’s assessment.

Pakistan reports one of the highest death rates in children from malnutrition, with 1 out of 3 children suffering from stunted growth. To prevent malnutrition Hasil Foundation has launched a “Better Food, Healthy Kids” Project for students in low-income schools. A diet plan has been designed by a certified nutritionist to provide nutritious meals to 350 stunted students on the outskirts of Lahore in a school run by Bali Memorial Trust. By improving their health the aim is to secure their future.
It costs less than a dollar (PKR. 160) to feed a child per day.
