Let’s talk about player speeds (skill levels):
The UPA corporate office takes more than 30 metrics from each nightly scoresheet to determine a player’s official speed (skill level).
Emotion and opinion are removed from the process of determining a player’s official speed.
The UPA has set the industry standard for correct player ratings.
Feedback on stats is given on the player dashboard. As a UPA player you will receive an unprecedented amount of information on why you are rated the speed that you are.
UPA League Operators don’t control whether you move up or down. Never have, never will. That’s part of the integrity of the ranking system.

Let’s talk about the rules:
There’s one rules set used consistently across the nation and at Vegas Nationals. There are no bylaws in UPA. So, there’s never a conflict in the UPA between rules and bylaws. This allows quick and easy resolution to any issues that may arise, keeping league night civilized and enjoyable for everyone.

Let’s talk about payouts:
Payouts are published on the internet for everyone to see. It’s easy to look up and see what a division pays out. It’s not a secret.

Let’s get on with playing pool.

Cue Tip Tuesday: Remember, the best shots are both offensive and defensive. Plan runs with this in mind and always think safety, even when you see an easy run-out.

What's Your UPA Speed? Player Dashboard tutorial on a player's Speed (Rating).

Cue Tip Tuesday: Think ahead. If you are constantly planning for your next three balls, you will give yourself a plan to get from one ball to another, while always leaving the cue ball in position to continue your run. After every shot, make sure you map out your next three balls. This will keep you in line and on the right side of your next ball.

It's happening again! We are hosting another $5 entry tournament tomorrow December the 14th. Limiting the field to the first 32 players. We finished up before midnight last week and our race grid proved to be the great equalizer with several beginner players making it well into the bracket. Play starts at 7pm sharp!

First and second in 9-Ball this session. Next session starts at the new year and we have new teams coming in. Get signed up now!
