"J’ai découvert cette jeune formation de Louisville par l’intermédiaire d’une compilation qui cherchait à mettre en valeur les différents jeunes groupes de cette ville qui a enfanté dans le passé des formations mythiques comme Rodan, Slint ou The For Carnation. Et c’est d’ailleurs à ces illustres aînés que se réfère ce groupe au nom improbable et surtout Rodan (qui connait d’ailleurs un regain d’actualité). La filiation slowcore est évidente dès la première écoute mais ce trio réussit à revisiter ce passé glorieux avec un certain brio. Il n’est pas question ici d’un vulgaire copier-coller, mais bien d’un groupe qui puise dans ses influences la sève de sa musique et ce premier ep révèle une jeune formation qui a tout pour surprendre à l’avenir."
