🌟🌟This was a special one 🌟🌟

This lovely bridesmaid originally opted out of having her makeup done.

After previous experiences with having makeup done as a bridesmaid and as a past bride, she knew how important it was going to be to her that she feels like *herself* and not too overdone.

She watched us glam the bride and two other ladies, and then this stunning angel of a nervous bridesmaid decided to trust us with her look.

In her words, “This is the best makeup I’ve ever had!”

“What’s my makeup going to look like after 6 hours and lots of tears?”

This weekend I had the pleasure of returning to this bride’s wedding venue to check if any touchups were needed on her makeup.

This photo was taken after 6 hours and photos outside in the humidity. All she needed was a lip touch up 💄

“Do I ever feel stressed a before a booking?”

This is a question I’m frequently asked.

My answer? Absolutely not. Over my 11 years of experience, hundreds of weddings and thousands of clients, I’ve reached a point where pressure and nerves don’t really affect me anymore.

Here’s why:

1. I start by asking all the right questions. Every time someone sits in my makeup chair, I begin with: “How would you like your makeup to look?” “Have you had any makeup experiences you didn’t enjoy?” and “Can you show me some photos for inspiration or examples of your preferred makeup style?” Gathering this detailed information enables me to customize each look to the individual.

2. I’m adaptable & I don’t take things personally. I can make adjustments without hesitation. I encourage clients to voice any concerns. This is their time and I’m with them to help them feel their most beautiful.

3. I have an exceptional team. While it might be natural for some to feel apprehensive when other artists represent them with clients, especially when they are not present, I personally don’t worry because I’ve handpicked every member of my team. They are all immensely talented, personable, and radiate positive energy, ensuring clients receive outstanding service and a warm atmosphere.

✨ MODEL CALL ✨

We are not just looking for one model call, but TWO!

Looking for:
1. Maternity/Family Session: 🤰🏻it is a bonus if you are pregnant with your second and will have your toddler also present at the session, but not a requirement.
2. Cake Smash/Family Session: 🎂 this model call will be a combination of a family session, and a cake smash at the end. Most suitable for families with a baby around 1 years old.

All of the content created will be used for our platforms. Please only apply if you give consent for photo usage, video creation, behind the scenes etc.

As this model call is for the sole purpose of content creation, you will work with the photographer to choose an appropriate outfit(s) based on the vision for the photoshoot.

This session will be taking place on a weekday in July (weekends are not available).

As a THANK YOU - Each model call session will receive:
⁃ 45 minute photoshoot with SB Photography at Icon Studio Space in Toronto
⁃ Makeup application by Sky Beauty Toronto
⁃ An online gallery with the edited images from our session!
