About us: Lee's Summit based team (practice in Lakewood). All positions are open as this will be a newly formed team. Looking to carry 11. Athletic Rec All-star players are encouraged to attend. Our teams are known to be very fundamentally sound and drama free. This isn't my first rodeo so I understand the development process and am determined to be committed to it.

Not to be out done... here's your Dylan's Army second place finish for the 12uB division.

These girls played their hearts out Went 4-1 on the weekend but came up short in the championship game, losing 2-1. Never been more proud of each of them. Hold your heads high and Let's go win the next one!!!

This right here is your Champions of this weekends, Dylan's Army tournament. This weekend, they put it all together and surpassed even my expectations for how quickly a team can get on the same page. It's been a rollercoaster so far and I've challenged them throughout the season and they've delivered and matured (almost overnight).

They played the right way and stayed focused during the good and persevered with that same intensity during every missed opportunity. Most importantly, they played TOGETHER and kept the supportive atmosphere I've been trying to cultivate since the fall.

As a result... We bring home hardware!

Congratulations ladies. We have more work to do. So let's focus on what went right and build on that!

After numerous 2nd place finishes this year, this team rocked out today by playing TOTAL team ball! Timely hits, good defense and aggressive base running allowed them to FINALLY get over the hump and bring home the gold!

Injuries Suck, Injuries can break a team if you let it. But injuries will not break a Family! We had a very unexpected injury that could have broke us but we as a family came together and knew we had to have each others back. We knew it wouldn't be easy and we delivered.

Bats came Alive, defense went into overdrive and the energy stayed High. Yet we fell short in the championship game and I wouldn't trade these girls for Nothing.

2nd Place this weekend with 1 True Pitcher isn't something to hang our heads on.

Have a ways to go but the bats are starting to heat up and everything's coming together nicely.

It's a marathon not a sprint. I always tell the girls the 1st 2 tournaments are refreshers to learn as much as possible. No coincidence in our 3rd tournament and starting to get most of our roster in tact that they find a way to deliver the gold!

KC Ambush 2012:

This fiesty spinach eating group took 2nd overall in the Perfect Game Midwest Hawaiian Hitfest (10uC) over this sizzling weekend.

The weather wasn't the only thing sizzling...
2 in this group hit their first over the fence 💣 this weekend. So what it was field 29 at Mid America - it still counts as they got to jog around the bases 😂😆🤣!!! Let them be GREAT!

It's really easy to do this well as a first year group when EVERYONE is bought in, put in the work, and is dedicated to getting better from top to bottom.

Nothing more rewarding than seeing a teammate celebrating someone else's success as if they made the play!

KC Ambush 2011 (12u) - After going 5-1 over the weekend, took home the 2nd flight championship!

This group is starting to put up some impressive numbers along the way!

Congratulations ladies for this much deserved hardware as well. Way to be resilient by learning from mistakes and losses - working hard to correct them - and coming out in top.

Winning is starting to look good on you ladies!

Took second overall in their 1st tournament of the season.

Very solid group of up and comers that are starting to look the part and gel very nicely.

Did I mention this was their first tournament of the season?

Undefeated for the weekend (12uOpen division). Tough weekend a couple of weeks ago. Tweeked some things and - what do ya know... - hard work pays off!

Congratulations for KC Ambush 2012's (10uC) second place finish (top flight) at the, "VIP Series Boo-Ya!" Tournament over the weekend.

The girls played some REALLY good ball and got a chance to really see their potential and grew A LOT in the process.
