Fresh Batch of LCHF waffles this AM πWhat is your favorite Low Carb way to break your fast?
Ignite Phase, Day 1 is underway! I broke my fast at 7:15 am with coffee, LCHF waffle with 1 tbsp almond butter & 1/3 cup strawberries. This week ill be working on pushing back my breakfast a little more each day, drinking 90 ounces of water a day, & tracking my macros.
Down 1.4 lbs from after the Christmas holiday π always proves to be a struggle for me. BUT I am starting the first phase of tomorrow & I am SOOO excited. I am getting prepped today making some food to make it easier throughout the week & taking starting measurements/pics. πΎHere's to an AMAZING successful 2018! Let's do this πͺπ»

Workout Checkin Week 2, Day 2 Cardio sprint intervals ππ Sprinted longer today than last time and at 4.5 speed (4.0 last time) Hubby says I am getting addicted to the run. π I just wanted to push myself π
Feeling Good to start Week 2 Day 1 off!
My goal is to stick as close to 40/30/30 macros. I know there will be days when I don't get as close but I'll try to get as many as I can because I feel really good when I do π

My Journey Back To Me: Week 1......-1.2 pounds!!
I'm feeling good after week 1. I did well all week, working out even if just a walk on the treadmill, eating was pretty good. I did not plan for Friday's work lunch so I did eat carry in Bob Evans salad & soup and had a little bit of cookie. Not the worse but could have been better if I was prepared. I'll be prepping today for this next week ππ»Last night we had a holiday party. I planned accordingly and knew I would indulge so I ate mindfully & I got a workout in.
β¨WEEKLY WIN: Yesterday on the treadmill I decided to try jogging π³ I wanted to spike my heart rate so I did intervals. I would walk a couple minutes then jog for 1 minute then walk again. I was so proud of myself for jogging! I'm not much for the treadmill normally & definitely not running but I liked the challenge and it felt GOOD!
I'm excited for this next week! Let's do this πͺπ»
With a crabby toddler attached to me most of the day, a messy house & some sciatica pain...I'm assuming because of the increase in workouts...I had to push my scheduled cardio to tomorrow but I wasn't going to let my excuses get the best of me. 20 minutes on the treadmill while I watched one of my fave Christmas shows π
Day 2 has been good! I really enjoyed the strength workout I did & my meals were good. I am doing some research about ketosis, ketones and gut health as well. I'm usually hesitant to try new things but I am intrigued by this. Any experiences? I'd love to hear your honest opinion, not a sales pitch, I'm not there yet...just your opinion would be greatly appreciated π

Your WHY is what keeps you going & conutined on this journey with another round or a new program. Tweaking your meal plans, making New goals each week because this isn't about perfection it's about progression. You are your only competition. You are striving to be better than you were yesterday & THATS IT!
Write out your WHY either on paper or on your phone.Put it somewhere you are going to see it EVERY Day (background of phone, or bathroom mirror, refrigerator) and read it out loud when things get hard. Then decide that it's not hard, it's getting easier everyday & go do it!

I BELIEVE IN YOU!
I used to be a girl who had never worked out a day in my life, ate fast almost every day, sometimes for every meal, drank nothing but soda, hated water & was miserable in my own skin at 265 lbs.
Now, I workout 4-5 times a week, I enjoy working out & mostly how it makes me feel, I mostly drink water, I have a healthy diet and know what I can eat to indulge but I'm able to reel it back in to stay on track with my goals, & im way more confident today then I was then!
If I can do this so can you! It just takes a mind set Shift And a plan! No matter how many times you've started, no matter how far your goals seem....You CAN do this & I Believe in you π

I LOVE that I can workout in my bedroom with my kiddos running around & πwatching me. It keeps me motivated to not have to leave the house & I know I am setting the best example for them to live a fit life!

Laying here with my teething, cranky babe on my day off, Checking my messages & I read that one of my expecting mama friends decided to try the sample pack of my shake to hopefully help with her food aversion to veggies! π GENIUS!
Then it dawned on me that OMG, YES it can Totally help with that. & OMG, why don't I talk about ALL the benefits of my shake more?!?! Because y'all it's PHENOMENAL!

It's been quite the journey & although it seems harder this time....Paul reminded me this morning that it's not harder, it was really hard the first time. Except I had to learn everything new! It just seems hard because I've already climbed this mountain and now I'm doing it again! I know what to do, I just have to put in the commitment that I had in the first place!
I grew as a woman tremendously in my first transformation! I showed myself that I was stronger than I ever imagined & I intend to do just that in this journey as well, no matter how long its taking.....I WILL climb this mountain π»

Reading personal development has become a thing in my life since starting my fitness business 3 1/2 years ago. I've read many & have found that they are most helpful when you dive into one with a specific need that you are dealing with. It's not a secret that I have a relationship with anxiety & panic attacks and this book has really opened my eyes to different way anxiety can work it's way in & how exercises to eliminate it from my life. I HIGHLY recommend this book if you struggle with anxiety.
Today's exercise is to remind myself of what is true:
- I AM STRONG
- I AM HEALTHY
-MY FAMILY LOVES ME
-I CARE ABOUT PEOPLE'S FEELINGS
-I AM A GOOD FRIEND
-I AM GOOD AT MY JOB
-I HAVE A PURPOSE IN THIS WORLD
-GOD LOVES ME
-I AM SMART.

Just another reason why I LOVE being able to workout anytime, anywhere. As a busy mom, it doesn't always happen when I would like it to, but because I have my own goals I make sure it gets done in the pockets of time I have throughout the day (cause it's 25 min y'all!) ππ»

~Do you own one? If so, which one & why do love it?
In my opinion, There are pros and cons to these little watch like devices.....
+Pros+
~Help to motivate you by visually seeing how much you actually move
~Keep track of how much sleep you're getting which is vital in a healthy lifestyle
~Track exercise & ESTIMATES calorie burn
~Some can alert you to phone calls & texts!
-Cons-
~They can become addictive & some can have an unhealthy relationship with not listening to their bodies and pushing for more "steps" because others can often see their step counts
~The calorie counts are Are not very accurate & should not be taken as "bible" when tracking caloric intake & output
~You have to charge them ππ» (I just hate taking mine off to charge & its always right before I workout lol)
All in all I think these are great little motivators and fun to have as a part of your fitness lifestyle but if you find yourself obsessing over calorie burns, etc. maybe take a little break & focus on your nutrition as a whole instead of how many calories you're burning in a day π
