Bengal Tigers FC - 2
Ashley Reserves - 1

On a surprisingly mild October afternoon tigers returned after not having a fixture last week. Tigers turned up with 14 players even with 4 players yet to return from injury and some still struggling to get match fitness.

Tigers started the game strong with plenty of possession and lots of passing. Tigers knew this week wouldn’t be as easy as prior weeks. Tigers created many chances until finally Caio broke the deadlock to put tigers 1-0 up. Plenty of chances went begging with tigers unable to double their lead. Half time tigers went in 1-0 up.

Second half began and the intensity had dropped from tigers allowing Ashley more possession. Ashley kept threatening the tigers goal. Ashley’s equaliser came from a throw in deep in the tigers half which we failed to clear. A shot was parried by teddy in goal which landed straight to an Ashley player to tap in from 2 yards out. 1-1.

The game went on with neither team taking any chances and it looked like both teams would take a share in the spoils and split the points. 5 minutes from the end, Raheel played an excellent through ball to Caio who was racing in the box to get their before their keeper. Caio’s blistering speed made sure he got there first and knocked it round the keeper only to get absolutely clattered by their keeper. Penalty awarded although no disciplinary action was taken against the keeper. Caio stepped up to take the penalty and slotted high to the keeps left who stood no chance in saving it. Tigers 2-1 up. Tigers kept it tight until the final whistle went and took the 3 points. Great game and great attitude from everyone.

Caio mom for working tirelessly and bagging us 2 goals.

Onto next weeks cup game against Sneyd Park from division 1. Will be tough but if tigers stick to playing football they’ll hold their own against them.

Was also nice to see the support increasing with not only the usual faces with boss and Mel but also a rare appearance from tigers old days and top scorer Dilli Bhai who added no one has beaten his record of 33 goals in one season. A record which will take some beating!!

Bengal Tigers FC - 7
Jersey Rangers Reserves - 3

Tough weather conditions made for a great game from both sets of players and as expected tasty challenges from the offset.

Jersey Rangers started quick given this was their first game of the season, and immediately went 2-0 up in the first 10 minutes with two well worked goals.

Bengal Tigers re-organised and took to a more familiar 4-4-2 formation and soon took the game to Jersey Rangers and started to dominate possession. They were soon rewarded for this and Ez put them ahead with a close range effort. This was followed up quickly with a stumbling effort from Zahid, a now midfield staple in the side.

Jersey Rangers once again then began taking control of the game and following a through ball by their midfield they slotted home, despite appearing to be offside. Linesman had his flag up but the referee did not want to know (which was a trait of his throughout the match).

Just before the half ended, Zahid found some space and disguised a great throughball to Ez which again he kept his composure and slotted home to go into the break 3-3.

Following half time, Bengal Tigers still maintained control of the game. Caio who was playing on the wing, found space and whipped in a dangerous ball for it to be handballed on the line by a Jersey Rangers defender. Bengal Tigers appealed but the ref failed to give the penalty. A special mention to Jersey Rangers who were incredibly honest and spoke to the Ref to reward the penalty. This was a first in many years playing up the downs for Bengal Tigers and shows their integrity. Again, a reminder to the committee to introduce VAR to the downs league.

Caio stepped up and slotted the penalty home. This was followed up by a stunning shot by Macz who once scored another shortly after to add to his perfect hat trick the previous week. Bengal Tigers were certainly in control the second half.

Just before the 90 minutes were up, Raheel, Bengal’s midfield maestro, threaded a stunning throughball in for Caio to slot home.

Another stunning win for Bengal Tigers, following last weeks 6-2 win, and putting a statement to the rest of the teams in the league. Everyone was faultless, and a special mention goes to Alan, who made yet another cameo appearance and did a great job, despite his football shirt looking snug following the lockdown biryanis. On to the next game.

27/09/2020

First game of the season after rona hit the shores and brought the country to a standstill. Playing against Greens Park Rangers. End result 6-2 victory. Caio our prolific goal scorer couldn’t find the back of the net but still managed 3 assists. With our key player Ez missing in midfield there were questions on who would be our playmaker but he wasn’t missed at all. Great attitude and team work. Goals scored by Macz with a perfect hat trick, Prom, Ray and Robin. Yes I said Ray and Robin. Captain came back after a long term injury to play upfront for 20 mins and bagged a goal. Should have kept a clean sheet but onto next week boys!!

Bengal Tigers (4th) 3-1 Greens Park Rangers (2nd)

Very important game at the weekend - a must win for the Tigers and we did not disappoint!

The first half was very physical and the Rangers showed good composure on the ball controlling the centre of midfield, in the absence of Qasib Saleem, raheel Qureshi was outmuscled for the most part showing signs of sluggishness after having his ankles broken numerous times by his opposite number. However, we grafted hard and managed to get the breakthrough with Azaz Haque being in the right position at the right time to tap in home from close range after a great pass from motm Stefano Balasco. We then went on to make it 2-0 after a long throw in from captain Robin Haque eluded everyone and was parried by the goalkeeper into the path on the ever so clinical Macz Rahman.

Second half - we wanted the game a lot more and put in our graft. Although in the 55th minute we conceded a sloppy (van d**e) like goal with captain Robin Haque failing to clear his lines after a somewhat dangerous pass from the keeper Shaf Islam. From then on we grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and were in control for the most part. 80 mins in, The legend that is Alan Curtis (ex Bristol City under 11s) took up his position in the box ready for captain Robin Haque’s long throw in and as the ball came in Alan glanced the ball into the back of the net. Didn't even celebrate, just told us to keep our heads in the game and see it home and also muttered “the old boys still got it! What a role model.

Man of the match performance from Stefano Balasco.

Donkey of the match was Raheel as his free kick has just landed on the moon.

Great win this week for the boys and next week we go again.

Bengal Tigers FC 3-2 Sporting Greyhound FC - 24/03/2018

Stunning performance by the boys today, we worked our socks off and got the 3 points. After initially going down 1-0 from a good range long strike, we stepped up our game by putting in tough tackles and trying to be first to every ball. They were the taller of the two sides and it looked as though we wouldn't be scoring in the first half - Azaz Haque who had the opposition defence on their toes all game came closest with a quality strike which hit the post. It was only until a quality free kick from Raheel (35 min) from 25 yards got us level. Following on from some good football down the left hand side Raja Akhtar linked up well with Qasib to make his run from left back and fire in a sublime half volley from outside the box to give us the lead just before half time.

The second half we were still in shock from the fantastic goal scored by our left back, causing the midfield to switch off at crucial moments in the game, as a result a mis-hit cross from the opposition player found the back of the net making it 2-2.

We again dusted ourselves off and grafted hard for the remainder of the game. Into the last minute of stoppage time, another long throw-in from Raja Akhtar (who was unstoppable today) found Alan Curtis who was surrounded by 3 opposition players but still managed to nod it into the danger area for that man Grant Milner to gamble and head the ball in giving us a well deserved 3-2 victory in front of the home fans!

Great work this week Tigers! Especially the defence - Robin Haque (C), Rayhan, Stef and Raja all keep their composure today. Good work from the midfield too back and forth all game - Raheel, Qasib, Hassan, Grant

Next week we go again!

Bengal tigers FC 3-3 Torpedo

A game that was decided by the ref!! (STEVE COOK)

Match report as seen from the touchline:
Bengal tigers started brightly and with the weather being the conditions they were it was very difficult for both teams to get into the fluent football however tigers were knocking it around alot better and should have been awarded a pen but the ref bought the tackle back onto line to award a free kick when the slide was 2-3 yards inside as shown.
Tigers carried on and got there goal from the resulting free kick with Ibby heading in after the GK let it slip out of his hand.
Torpedo played great football themselves after falling behind but aslo with the help of our match official, we're getting a lot of soft free kicks. Tigers continued to be patient and on the break got there 2nd goal just before half time thanks to a great run from promel miah.

2nd half it's seemed certain the referee came out with the intentions to be talking point of the game as a 2 footed challenge was not given for a tigers player who was left injured but a soft nudge was given as a foul. Consistency throughout the game was horrendous. Torpedo got there first goal back from a corner as the ref blew for a tigers free kick then gave a goal. After the hesitant decision tigers appealed but ref stood his ground, what looked like a good game on paper was ruined by a ref who should not reffing another game in his career after a poor performance.
Tigers got there 3rd goal to make it 3-1 regardless and it was Raheel Qureshi who just doesn't fail to find the back of the net every week! But guess what free kick after free kicks were awarded which helped torpedo to a 3-3 comeback after sending of a tigers player. Ref walked from the half way line to the right back then asked the player to look at him which he decided not to as all tigers players were hot headed at this point thanks to ref. Shown him a straight red for What? Not listening to him. Absolute shamble as tigers were denied a goal right at the last minute as the referee called it offside and not the linesman.

Unfortunatly it was 10 men against 12 and any spectator would sat the same. I would request the FA to please watch Steve cooks performances.

MOTM - Raheel & Ibby

Bengal tiger FC 2-3 Sneyd FC

Horrendous day for footy considering the wet and muddy conditions.

With many games called off, this was an encounter with 2 great quality sides battling at the top!

Bengal tigers went 1-0 up through Macz Rahman slotting through the legs of the keeper after early pressure from tigers, however 2 goalkeeping error led to sneyd equalizing then going in front in quick succession. Tigers were still playing the better football but were unable to covert through Azaz Haque, missing the most clear cut chances once through on goal. Goal was always coming for tigers but their patience paid off when sabes run through on goal only to chip past the keeper to make it 2-2.
Just before half time tigers mistake at the back through Rayhan Qadar led to another goal which left tigers climbing a mountain in the 2nd half. 3-2 Sneyd HT

As the second half carried on, the pitch condition and the weather got worse with tigers looking the most dangerous every time they attack, The man on form and getting them out of trouble most weeks Raheel Qureshi let fly for 25yards only to leave the crossbar shaking, Sneyds keeper come to the rescue on many occasions as tigers continued to press with 3 at the back. Sneyd had counter attacks of there own which they failed to capitalise from.

MOTM - Sabes

Injury updates going into next week;
Robin Haque - 1 week away
Shiraz Islam - could be available next week
Abdus salam - suspended
Shaf Islam - Kneed injury rules him out for atleast 2 months
Raja Akhtar / Ger Rard- should recover from illness

Cup Match: Bengal Tigers FC 4-8 Jersey FC Res.

On a day where many games were called off due to the weather this was still good to go so Jersey were allowed to play their 1st team..

Jersey got off to a bright start and with their composed passing & using the channels well where their wingers were destroying tigers defence every time they pressed. Jersey raced into a 6-0 lead in the first 38mins with tigers not knowing what hit them, it took tigers 38mins to finally wake up and look dangerous themselves and also got rewarded a goal late on after a great run from Promel Miah who played in shaf who's cut back ball found none other than Frank Lampard (Azaz Haque 43mins) to slot home 6-1 HT.. Men vs Boys 👍

Second half was cagey as tigers were getting back into the game but the best chance fell to Jersey missing a 1 on 1 with the keeper and also hitting the post, tigers then went up the other end on a counter attack and some Great play by Azaz and hashim allowed the space for Qasib who didn't fail to miss his 1 on 1. Tigers continued to press and they had their 3rd goal from a defensive error from jersey and Abz didn't give up on the ball & tucked it away into the corner of the net. 6-3
With 10 mins to go Jersey surely secured the win after Bengal tigers defensive error on a horrible wet pitch let them in twice in space of 4mins to make it 8-3, but there was the return of jedi Raheel Qureshi who always seems to make it onto the scoresheet! Terrific run and into middle which was well dummied by Abz, Raheel took it onto his left foot and smashed it in with his weaker foot. Terrible result in the first half but much better in the 2nd.

MOTM: N/A

We move onto next week against the top of the league. Must win game for sure, if we want to into the champions league places.

Team news ahead of the cup game on Saturday against Jersey FC:

Captain Robin Haque could be out for 2 weeks with Injury sustained against Greens park rangers FC, Grant Lewis also out this week, with the GK issue being a problem over the course of season, tigers 4th keeper stefano balasco could be out due to a knee problem.
Tigers still missing key players such as Abdus Salam through suspension.

Talking of key players, we welcome back Azaz Haque back into the team!!

Further team news to follow before kick off...

13/01/2018

Bengal Tigers FC 1 - Green Park Rangers 1

After a 4 week food fuelled Christmas break, it was only inevitable to see two sides at the top end of the table start the new year with a lacklustre draw.

Bengal Tigers started off the strongest, playing some excellent one-two football and hitting the other team on the break. Bengal Tigers missed plenty of chances to go ahead, with efforts narrowly off target.

The deadlock was broken when Abz one of the few people to threaten the opposition, crossed in a David Beckham-esque freekick for Raheel Qureshi to tower a header in the goal.

In the second half, Tigers managed their lead well having faced plenty of pressure early in the half. Despite several great saves from Stefano Balasco, Green Park Rangers headed in from a corner.

With 20 mins left, the match had plenty of hard tackles, plenty of easy chances, with no side really doing enough to win the game.

With a cup game next week, Tigers welcomed the return of Azaz Haque, who has been out of action since the start of the season. However, a sour taste was left, when captain Robin Haque was stretched off late in the second half. Further injury updates will be published once we hear back from the medical team.

MOTM - Raheel Qureshi

FANS & FRIENDS!!!

The players and staff from Bengal tigers FC wanted to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Bring on 2018!!

19/12/2017

Bengal Tigers 9 - 2 CSV

Given the cold December weather and the absence of their captain, the game on the outset looked a difficult one.

However, Tigers started with passion and went 3-0 ahead within the first ten minutes with Promel Miah running onto various through balls to slot home earning the easiest hat-trick of his career.

Raja Akhtar, controversially picked to captain the team on the day, scored two great goals to add to the tally.

CSV fought back with two well worked goals following complacency by the Tigers defence following an easy first 30 minutes.

Despite this, Grant Lewis, Qasib Saleem and Sharaz Akhtar strengthened the score line with three further goals for the Tigers.

With the release of the new Star Wars movie, it was only fitting to see the return of the Jedi, Raheel Qureshi, following an hamstring injury. Taking control of a free kick 35 yards out, he curled it gracefully into the top right hand corner. A force to be reckoned with this season. 7 free kicks with 5 coverted this season.

MOTM - Promel Miah

10/12/2017

Bengal tigers FC 6-1 Corinthian FC

What normally seems a physical affair between the two sides was kept well controlled by a very young referee in charge.

After a few disappointing results Tigers set up 4-5-1 and very well picked by the Captain Robin Haque who was solid himself after recovering from illness. A young tigers side started off brightly playing the ball on the floor which was to Corinthians disadvantage and created numerous chances with Aiyan the main man up top involved with everything but missing the target but you wonder would they regret not taking advantage of this dominating spell. However Macz Rahman had other ideas as he failed to give up on a ball only to run down the wing past a couple of players and shoot from the edge of the box only for it to deflect in (25mins) 2nd goal came from another intricate play and again macz Rahman to back heel the ball back to Promel Miah who planted the ball in the top corner and rip the net! (33mins) 3rd goal came just before the break from a brilliant pass and finish by Qasib (42mins). HT 3-0

Second half Corinthians came wanting to get the early goal but it didn't come from the Ariel threat that they cause but it's came from accidental mistake and the bottom corner they found (51). TIGERS normally drop there heads at this point but shortly after Qasib found Sharaz Akram who was having great game at this point only to pass back to Qasib who put the ball into Ramzan to score the with his shin from 6yards (59mins) 4-1. Raja Akhtar scored his 2nd 11mins later after promel miah chipped the ball in for Raja to shoulder the ball in from 3yards (70mins). Tigers wernt finished as Sabez who come on chased the defender down who tried to clear only for it to come off his knees and past the keeper(86mins). 6-1FT

Tigers defence do deserve a massive round of applause for keeping the wingers and strikers quiet and let the guys ahead of them do what they do best! Too many outstanding performances (Aiiyan, Raja, Macz, Sharaz and promel)

MOTM - Macz Rahman got the early goal and set up the 2nd unselfishly and got tigers going!!

World class performance by the boys and let's do the same next week! Ball on the floor and into the back of the net!!!

02/12/2017

Clifton Rockets FC 2-1 Bengal Tigers FC

Horrendous refereeing and a terrible result based on our ambition!

Clifton Rockets started brightly but we're evenly matched by tigers who had a flurry off shots early on but only for the keeper to keep them in the game. Rockets made the breakthrough from a GK error after a soft header was headed across goal only for the keeper to parry it towards goal. Tigers responded with attack upon attacks but we're rewarded after Promel Miah made a run down the wing only to find shaf on his own in the box who hammered it home, tigers were then through on goal 1 on 1 with the keeper with the last attack of the half only for the ref to blow HT. 1-1

Tigers came out all guns blazing attacking until the referee made a few shocking decisions and not awarding Raja Akhtar a blatant penalty after he was pushed in the box but willing to give a nudge made by a tigers player, it heated up after Clifton had a offside goal and the ref decided to over rule the linesman decision but referee then pointed out "I'm sure it was offside but because you raised the flag a little late I can't give it" Salam and Alan were cautioned for protesting the comments and 2mins later Salam was shown a second yellow card then red for a good slide tackle but referee deemed it as malicious only for the opposing team to laugh at the referees decision. Alan was soon shown a second yellow then red for mouthing to the ref who had ruined the game lost control over it. Game finished 2-1 and 9 men tigers.

MOTM - 9 Tigers player!!

Seasons not over and can be turned around with a performance next week!!

The lads!

25/11/2017

Bengal tigers FC 1-1 Portland boys FC

Great start to the game by tigers where they dominated for the first 10mins before it was abit more balanced as portland grew back into game and the only threat they really had were from set pieces, never the less Tigers scored from a set peice of there own and it was none other than the man looking to hit that 150th tigers goal himself Alan curtis (37mins) excellent header which was guided above the keeper and bounced over the line.

Second half was much more even and portlands came out with the attitude they will fight till the end however it could have been all over for them in the 55mins from another set peice and the ball dropped to Alan Curtis whose shot was going bottom corner only for the keeper to parry it away. Portland's seem to have waken up and really try catch tigers on the counter as wasted passes and chances went a stray. Portland's were finally rewarded when they scored from a set peice themselves as the corner was swung in but the keeper had no chance (80mins) tigers pressed for the winner but unlucky not to score.

Next week we come back with a winning mentality or stay home!!

MOTM - Alan Curtis (150th Tigers goal) 🎉🎉 well done mate 🍾🍺

Cup Game Match report: Bengal tigers FC 3-1 Corinthian FC

We knew both teams are physical and it would be tough and it did not disappoint!

Corinthian started of slightly more alert and got the goal 7mins in when they're striker shot from 20yards out which seemed easy but fumbled in front of the keeper and in however tigers had only then woke with a roar as they attacked and played the ball on the floor, which they do better than any team in the league! A great interplay between the midfield and a pass to ibby who chased everything then got his reward when he was pulled back with his back to goal and earned the team a penalty, up stepped Promel Miah to slot in fantastic penalty! Tigers carried on and a physically presence of yasser in the middle ment the wingers could push up and with Macz Rahman playing on the wing who latched onto a ball played by yas and my word to did he do well. Outsprinted the defence to fire home the second goal. 2-1 tigers HT
Second half was attack upon attack by tigers but failing to find the back of the net, 2 clear cut chances for Alan curtis who is 1 shy of his 150th goal and other chances squandered .. after a bust up in the game between the 2 teams which got all feisty for 5-10mins the referee restarted the game only for shaf to come on and score the 3rd goal for tigers with 10 mins to go!! Great game on a miserable afternoon for the spectators who come up to watch.

MOTM - Yasser & Macz

29/10/2017

Sneyd Park 4-2 Bengal tigers FC

How did we lose that??

Question marks all over the last 15mins...
First half was dominated by tigers who were shooting upfield but keeping the ball and playing to there strengths, on the floor and scoffing alot of chances early on and not troubling the keeper, only for Promel Miah to run 1 on 1 with the keeper and pass it unselfishly to the tigers legend Alan curtis for him to score his 149th goal for the club (35mins). 1-0 at HT

Tigers all in control in the second half and shortly after scored the second with Raja Akhtar making a sublime run down the wing and well picked out by Grant and only for Raja to cooly slot it pass the keeper (65mins).
On 75mins sneyd got there first goal from the winger running past our defender only to pass the ball forward which should have been called offside and the referee wasn't having none of it.
Sneyd managed to gather it abit of momentum and tigers switched off and midfield was wide open for them to walk through which led to the second and the last 2 goals came from a long throw which wernt dealt with and sneyd wanted it more.

MOTM - Luke (solid in defence)

Tigers have to really take a long hard look at themselves this week and really pick up again and not look back at this. We move on and strive for 3 point next week!

🐅

21/10/2017

Bengal tigers FC 2-1 Saint old boys A

A game of two half thanks to the wind.

Bengals tigers started dominant & with the wind on there side, it was all one sided up until shaf the man up top cut onto his left foot to guide it into the back of the net. Tigers had missed opportunity and not taking advantage but only for Macz Rahman finding the ball in the box and was the quickest to react and slammed the ball in the bottom corner! 2-0 HT.

Saint old boys came out lumping the ball forward as the wind gradually got stronger and conditions worsen. However saints got there goal after scrambling in the box and we seen it many years where tigers have lost it drawn games from here but this year the steel and grit in the team is solid. Defence of Raja Akhtar, Robin Haque ,Stefano , Grant and Rayhan Qadar (sub) played excellent in front of a outstanding keeper in goal pamps! Phenomenal save to keep us in it at 2-0 & 2-1.

MOTM - Greig Pamplin

We remain unbeaten but missing key players for next week top of the league clash and a few doubts.

Raheel qureshi - out
Qasib - out
Rayhan Qadar -(Not in the squad for being late this week)
Azaz Haque- another set back for 2 months

14/10/2017

Bengal tigers FC 3-0 Old Elizabeth res

A game which on paper probably would look easy. Old Elizabeth blocked the tigers attack each and every time, and created a couple of chances themselves with the captain in defence missing today however Rayhan Qadar & Shizzyle Nizzle was outanding in defence covering well. Tigers finally got there goal with Promel Miah getting on the end of great team goal.
Second half was pretty much one way traffic! Tigers dominated and hit the crossbar through shazzy and Ramzan missed pen. But it was the midfielder who has been scoring free kicks for fun this year turnt the midfield and whipped a shot into the top corner (un-saveable) to make it to 2-0 and the third also came from a corner and it was Raheel who had just got on the end of what looked like an own goal.

MOTM - Raheel Qureshi & Rayhan Qadar

We are still unbeaten!! Top performance by the whole team and we need to now push for the top spot!!

07/10/2017

Bengal tigers FC Injury updates:
Macz Rahman - should be fit again next week.
Sharaz Akram - back in 2 weeks
Abdus Salam - should be fit for next week.
Azaz haque - still out for another 3-4 weeks, but good to see him running again 👍

Good news for the tigers aswel as the results!!

07/10/2017

Bengal tigers FC 4-3 Jersey FC

WHAT A SOLID SECOND HALF!

We started the game going 1-0 in the first 5 mins with Grant slotting in nicely in the corner of the net, after that lets just say our GK had a terrible day at the office as we conceded 3 sloppy goals in the first half to be down 3-1 down at HT.

Second half kicked off and Tigers continued to dominate as Jersey sat back protecting the 2 goal advantage only for Rayhan Qadar to pop up in the box an side foot the ball in the back of the net. Grant scored the equalizer 10mins to time but the best of goals came with 2mins to spare and it was that man again RAHEEL QURESHI with a 30yard screamer!!

Tigers limited Jersey to 2 shots in the 2nd half and hats off to defense who had a solid day out and the GK can only thank his team mate who came to the saviour!

Next week another big game!!! STILL UNBEATEN .. we go again with a fresh winning attitude!!!

MOTM - Grant lewis

Bengal tigers FC 2-2 Helios FC

A massive improvement from last week however we started of really slow again and conceded two sloppy goals in quick succession to go 2-0 down, only to wake up after Raheel Qureshi scored his 3rd free kick out of 4 free kicks this season! Sublime finish to make it 2-1 at the break.

Second half carried on from where we left off and we bullied them and had 2 goals disallowed but u can see one on the video attached but our wait for a equaliser came when Qasib latched onto the ball from grant and passed it into the net.

Feels like a loss as we played that well from 30mins onwards but Tigers are still undefeated in the league! We keep going if we want to win this league!!!!

MOTM- Raheel Qureshi

23/09/2017

Jersey FC 4-2 Bengal tigers FC

Massive disappointment to have lost in the Cup and be out in the first round.

Just goes to show if we take our foot off the pedal, it's that easy to lose a game to a team we think we should beat. We need to play as team and not have everyone trying to be Cristiano Ronaldo.
On a positive note we played our average game and still unbeaten in the league so we need to pick it up massively next week! Goals: Superb free-kick by Raheel Qureshi and Raja Akhtar (pen)

MOTM - Shizzyle Nizzle

Bengal tigers FC 5-5 Corinthian FC

It always has been a physical tussle between the 2 sides over the years. This time we come across to meet a Corinthian side who were sat top of table with a 100% record so far.

Really should have won the game and some outstanding individual performances however as a team we had grit, determination and the fight to keep going. A hatrick scored by Qasib and 1 goal each for Sharaz Akram & Promel Miah.

MOM - Qasib

Still unbeaten!! So we keep it that way in the Cup game next week!!
