We have even more new announcements coming this week so stay tuned to our social channels! 🙂A few things to note for this week:
Our Australian Beamers 🇦🇺 clocks went back an hour since they are entering Fall, so please make a note of class times that have changed for the Southern Hemisphere. It will be reflected on the website under the live class schedule.
In our Instagram stories today, we’re adding a fun weekly planner! People with CF are pros at managing a schedule… from airway clearance, to insulin shots, exercise, eating calorie-packed meals, cleaning nebs, and taking time to rest - and this is on top of everything else in a normal household routine.
So, what activities would you like to do this week to help you feel-good? 😊 Fill out our shareable planner and get creative… Tag a friend that you plan on doing these things with either in your house or virtually.
It could be trying a Beam class, cooking something new, an hour offline every day to rest… Whatever it is, sharing this calendar might be a gentle reminder for yourself and a friend to take time to feel-good. 🧘♂️🛀🧩🎼🚲🌤
Please reach out to us and let us know how we can support you. 🙂
Welcome to the Beam instructor line-up, Nicole Allen! You're in great company! 🎉🤗🎉
We're so pleased to have Nicole join our line up, not least because her sunny disposition and contagious smile always brighten our days, but because she has an amazing yoga practice to offer you all.☀️🌿
Nicole is a yoga instructor from the UK where she also is a fitness instructor and PT teaching spin, dance, and boxercise - She also lives with CF.
Calming restorative yoga is a great way to relax and help heal your mind and body. If you haven’t tried yoga and want to start learning, this is a great way to start. It will allow yourself to slow down, release tension, and respond to your body's needs. Something we could all use a bit more of right now! 🌿
We know we have quite a bit of yoga being Beamed to you right now, so let us reassure you that Nicole is only here to make your experience even richer. Join her with a bundle of cushions and blankets to journey into feel-good, with some slow and easy stretches, some calming relaxations, and to soak up her warm vibes.
She will be taking you through a calming restorative yoga session on Sundays for our UK and Australia time zone Beamers. We highly recommend reserving your spot today.

Today was Day 16 on Trikafta and I blew the best numbers I have blown since 2010!!
I don’t usually share my numbers because I try to focus on how I feel and let’s be honest with “established lung disease” numbers can get rather depressing. Especially when the disease you live with is progressive and losing lung volume is basically the norm.
After almost a decade of never thinking I would see numbers in the 30s again and knowing the only hope of gaining any lung function back would most likely have to be with a double lung transplant. I’m happily grateful that today, on day 16 of Trikafta, I blew a 33%!! There’s magic in those 3s!
Now to most this number wont seem like a lot, and really it isn’t, my lungs are severely damaged and diseased. Trikafta can’t undo that damage... but, with my hard work, will, and determination I am hopeful. I am excited and I hope I will still see more improvement. I dream of one day ditching this leash and I really hope that can happen.
I haven’t stopped crying happy tears since this afternoon. As I celebrate this hope and my success I can’t help but think of all my CF friends and family. I want everyone to be able to have this more than anything. Know that I’m determined more than ever to keep going for all of you. 100% until it’s done, it’s been my life long goal, it always will be, I give you my word! Breathe out Love! Xo❤️
During World Antibiotics Awareness Week we bring you a list of four things underway to improve treatments for lung infections in cystic fibrosis: http://ow.ly/TXf250xhMBY
Just touching base....You might be thinking where I am, what am I doing, how’s CF life & where’s all the yoga gone? Well I’m in this wonderful yurt 3x a week teaching yoga to my lovely yogi students💗 now teaching 6 yoga classes a week over Sussex. I post a lot of my content on which is my yoga business👏🏼☺️🙏🏼
CF life is up & down. I finished the home course of IV antibiotics & felt great. Then recent clinic results showed my lung function has dropped quite a bit & I’ve been battling a cold.
Keeping continually motivated everyday with CF treatment does become difficult sometimes & I have felt like I’m fighting this on going battle a little harder.
I’ve been loving my doterra On Guard & lavender oils too though & using them in my practice 👏🏼
Wishing I could be in the yurt 24/7 # #
How are you? How’s CF life? How’s your yoga journey?
With Love & Light
