I have been in the construction business for over 40 years. 27 of those years were working at Six Flags Over Texas, building and maintaining the rides and buildings in the park. Turning on the faucet is one of the best and easiest ways to protect your pipes during freezing conditions. 5 to 10 drops per minute will do the trick. It allows cold water to trickle out and prevent water from freezing in your pipes.

The masons were hard at work expanding this existing firebox to accommodate the homeowner's new, larger fireplace. Check out the beautiful beams in this living area!

I got to spend some time on the job sites this week and snapped a couple pictures of the guys in action. Here's Derek installing the control panel for a custom steam shower.

Sometimes it doesn't work out to get a photographer in before the happy homeowners come home, but Mike was able to snap a few pictures before the movers arrived and we just had to share!
A few years back we remodeled this customer's condominium in the city. When they were ready to move out to the country they gave us a call. We finished out a barndominium on their property for them to live in while we built, and then got to work on this beautiful ranch home. We love our customers new and repeat, and are always thrilled to collaborate on a new project.

It's back to school time in Texas! Wishing all of our families and friends a wonderful first week back! We're going to miss having the little ones around the office, but the quiet sure is nice.
