Bespoke order. I made a tutu nearly identical to this in orange 10 years ago. Loved the design then, and love it now . Fuchsia ombré skirt with ivory. Yummy . Low back. ALOT of sparkle. Makes such a difference when quality trim is used 🥰.

I have been putting off spray painting ombré onto a tutu skirt due to the wind and rain. It can’t be put off any longer….it will be a battle between me, the wind and a pot of pink. Now all I have to do is get it on the skirt and not me 🤦♀️

I hate turning people away so please, if you want a tutu making by me in 2024 get in touch. Coming soon …… ready to wear full coral/peachy tutu in small adult . I need to name my ready to wear tutus as I put so much of me into them 😂. I think this one will be called Alina which is a Ukrainian variation of the name 'Helen', it means ‘bright and beautiful’. This is going to be VERY classical and elegant in style. Oh, and sparkly ✨
Sorry guys, I’ve been a little quiet. I’m full of cold and there has been a slight delay with some trim so I’ve nothing recent to show you ….. except this little tutu. All flowers have been hand sewn onto a plate to allow for a hidden growth gap that I incorporate into all my tutus to make sure they last as long as possible. I am unable to attend the East Coast Dance Championships due to illness and hopefully catching up on sewing. Good luck everyone x

I’ve had a fantastic week at Lincolnshire Dance Festival. Such a well organized competition only made possible by such a lovely group of volunteers . Thanks for all those who came to say hi. My granddaughter loved watching the baby troupes. Won’t be too long before she starts her lessons, you never know she may need a tutu one day ! I am currently working on some lovely tutus that I can’t wait to show you. Have a fantastic weekend everyone. S x

Dear SBS customers.
Your pancake ballet tutu has a steel hoop. Please do not fold your tutu when storing or carrying . Your tutu bag should only have one handle with the tutu hanging from one strap. Your tutu needs to be stored flat with knicker holes facing upwards. This is the best way to preserve your flat skirt. Thanks .

I am now taking bookings for summer holidays and October 2024 half term dance competitions 😱. I have no tutu slots left before April 2024. If your dancers tutu is looking tight now it’s unlikely to fit this time next year. If you’d like a slot booking please get in touch. Sara x

Coming out of ‘retirement’ means I have to replenish everything from fabric, net and trims. All profit currently goes into sourcing THE BEST materials available. The postman and bank manager must hate me 🤦♀️

Fit on a structured tutu is so important, hence why a minimum of 2 fitting appointments are required. Nipped in at the waist and fitted closely at the back. The bodices I make are specially fitted to that dancer, with fabric in the back to allow for growth. This is a pic of the very lovely Jess. I’ve had the honor of watching her and her sister dance in SBS tutus on a number of occasions. Just beautiful 🥰

Finally time to put this beautiful NEW pancake tutu up for sale. The stunning quality trim took an age to sew on and was a labour of love. I have only charged half the labour so someone will be getting a bargain. It’s roughly a 9-11 year old. Chest 24.5 to 26.5 inches, waist 20.5 to 23 inches, hips 26 to 28.5 inches. Fully lined white bodice, 8 layers of net with a hoop. Will be exhibited this week in Grimsby so can’t be sent till next Monday. It truly is beautiful. £230 plus postage.

I’ve just spent 2 hrs pricing up all the hairpieces, slides, bun wraps and tiaras ready for pending competitions. I hope to put pics of the selection on here tomorrow. Being a former dance mum I know how hard it is to stretch each pound so I’ve spent hours and hours sourcing the best I can as cheaply as I can. My prices start from just £3, with nothing costing over £8. Happy sparkles everyone 🥰

Firstly, thank you so very much! Your support since I came out of ‘retirement’ has been amazing . I am slowly working through my diary and I am blown away by how many bookings I’ve taken in the last 2 weeks. As things stand I currently have only 6 tutu slots left before Easter 2024. Just a gentle reminder to read the booking text when it’s sent out. Deposit is required before slot is booked. Sorry . SBS x
This 8-11 year old tutu won’t be advertised for sale just yet as it’s going on display at two dance festivals. The flower trim makes me smile, not when I was sewing it on though 😱. I love the fuchsia, pale pink and aqua tones in the flowers which I have also matched with crystals. With stage lighting this little one will sparkle beautifully .

I put my heart and soul into all my tutus, even the tiny ones. This is a velvet teal stretch pancake tutu for an 8-10 year old. It has an 8 layered hooped pancake skirt made from quality Italian net, which has been hand quilted. There are hundreds of sequins, beads and crystals on this ballet tutu. Only quality non brassy silver trim has been used. Bust 23.5 to 26 inches, waist 19.5 to 23 inches, hips 25.5 to 28 inches. Girth is 46 to 48 inches. £215 plus p&p. Thanks . SBS x
