Such a special session capturing our dearest friends. It’s a joy to do life with these five and even sweeter to capture their newest addition Eden 🤍 there is nothing quite like taking pictures of your best friends.

a few maternity photos I took last week. it’s been so sweet to shoot more the last few months. I love every couple I get to capture so so so much.

Photographing the same couples through every season of life is hands down my favorite part of this job.

There is absolutely nothing like seeing someone in the sweet season of engagement & then capturing that same family with their babies.

Best trip to Boston & the most incredible family. Literally so honored to call them the best of friends!

After two days of working and doing life without Cohen & Everett I’ve remembered how much I absolutely adore it. I really love working. I feel inspired and challenged & encouraged. It’s truly so satisfying.

But

Nothing compares to the sound of my babies joy filled laughs when they are playing with each other or the encouragement of a Sunday school teacher telling me how polite, kind, and gentle my son is. My hours of sleepless nights, repeated, disciple, and merciless patients pays my heart is greater ways.

I think I’ll stick to raising babies for this next season of life. I never knew how wonderful it could be to raise kids. I am JUST as inspired, challenged, and encouraged, if not, more. What a beautiful gift God has opened my eyes to in these last 3 years of life.

This guy has been my hero this week. Everett has been super sick for six days and he just showed up. So here I am showing up giving him a shout out! He’s literally an incredible husband and I’m so thankful for him.

I CANNOT BELIEVE we shot this freaking dream boat wedding only a week ago. Here are a FEW sneak peaks of the glorious .bigbie this girl was all positives, all hype, and all joy. Yup, you heard it here 1st. We do indeed take family photos, senior photos, and beyond.

We typically showcase our engaged & married couples, because weddings are what we primarily focus on, but I had to show this cutie today.

Us as of recently. Getting rocked by parenthood. Had no idea how fun it was. Literally floored by this great joy we get to take part in.

People ask what we’ve been doing lately and how busy we must be.

Reality, just playing with kids and cherishing these precious moments we never want to miss. It’s been so incredible and we’ve gotten to do more than we ever imagined.

We’re 7 years deep into marriage and still get excited for date night. Their is something so good about showing up for your spouse. Wherever you’re at.

Our most recent rhythm has been trading off every other week with some close friends for date night. On their week they drop there girls at our house and go out and on our week we drop our babes at their house and go out. It’s worked like a charmmmm and saved all the $$$ for baby sitters haha.

Marriage rocks, but it’s best when it’s jiving. Date nights keep us jiving. Date your spouse for life 👏🏽 so worth it!

an update:

Live in waco & love it. Community is so rich. We’ve learned It’s all about who you do life with, not where you live.

Real estate investment has been a huge highlight this past season. We’ve lived investing in long term rentals, midterm rentals, and short term rentals here in waco.

Our coffee shop is officially 5 months old. It’s still been a dream come true. Our staff and team rock & have created a beautiful safe place in waco for people to gather and commune over incredible coffee.

We’ve finally gotten more Texas based weddings which has been fun to shoot locally and get more quality time at home with the kids. We still have been accepting weddings for 2024 and are excited about each couple we get to capture.

Cohen & Evie are becoming the best of friends. It’s been the greatest joy in the world to be their parents. We play in the backyard, go on walks, eat pizza, and just live a normal simple daily life.

That’s so so simple, but boy howdy did it make me glow from the inside out.

It was like I was excited about marriage all over again. It was a simple, yet powerful moment.

it’s been a game changer for us to get to document our couples right here in Texas. We still get to do what we love & capture weddings, while raising our two babies.

Oceanside, CA

We flew out to shoot the beloved & wedding.

Not gonna lie, this wedding was one for the books. These two are crazy about Jesus & honoring him with their life. It was so awesome to get to capture that + their adoration for one another.

To top it off, it turned into one of the best family vacations we have been on to date. We all stayed in in a cute tiny room and snuggled in bed every morning and drank more coffee than permitted and laughed and talked and walked by the beach. It was such a privilege & honor. We will never ever forget this weekend away on the coast of California.

Every time we get to capture couples, families, babies, friends, humans loving other humans we are reminded how much we love taking photos of people.

I know we’ve said it before, but I’m saying it again. We love taking photos timeless moments.
