Let's talk full coverage!!

Believe it or not, it is possible to get a flawless, full coverage base without looking like a dried up cakey mess!

My secret is that I get most of my coverage from concealers, NOT foundation. I almost never use a full coverage foundation on myself or on clients, even if they have extreme acne. This is because I believe that the sole purpose of foundation is to even out skin tone and create the base for the rest of the makeup to sit on; like the foundation of a house. I then believe that it's CONCEALer's job to .. conceal lol and cover imperfections where it's needed.

This way of application allows the areas of the face that don't have any imperfections to shine through and look like real skin, and not mask-like.

For this look I used Candleglow foundation which is a sheer-light medium coverage with a luminous finish. I then added coverage only in certain areas (When I break out it's mostly on my cheeks and I get a lot of red splotches there too) with Radiant Creamy Concealer, which I love because you get full coverage in a thin, creamy consistency that doesn't cake or flake on dry patches. I then use a sense buffing brush and press the makeup into the skin so the coverage stays where I want it.

Lastly, I always always use a setting or hydrating spray and then use my hands to further press the makeup into the skin. I feel the heat from your hands + the spray really help keep the skin looking like skin.

SOO excited to try out these goodies! I've always heard nothing but great things about the brand so I decided to get some treats for my dry ass skin lmao.
