'The Silom' is our November special. This month, we got flexing his Thai cooking skills - in a bagel. Available at Tanjong Pagar, Novena, Holland Village and Joo Chiat.

Q: Could you tell us a little bit more about yourself?
A: I began my Thai food journey with YouTube and online recipes, eventually becoming a hawker. Now, my focus has shifted towards developing creative concepts and fresh dining experiences but my passion for Thai cuisine remains strong.

Q: How do you feel about participating in this month’s special?
A: When the boys first approached me, I felt truly honoured to collaborate with such a well-established, homegrown brand.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from, and how does it affect your cooking?
A: My inspiration comes from focusing on recreating classic flavours from old-school recipes. One of my favourite Thai dishes to whip up is Prawn Vermicelli - กุ้งอบวุ้นเส้น - because it is something very close to my heart.

Q: How did you come up with the idea for this bagel, and why is the theme ‘Thai’?
A: I wanted to combine Thai street food staples, like mango salad and Hatyai fried chicken, with something unexpected — like a bagel. This ‘Thai’ theme hints at a bigger surprise; let’s just say Bangkok will be seeing much more of us soon!

Q: What was the most fun aspect of working on this bagelwich?
A: The synergy and passion of the team at TMBH was the absolute highlight for me. (Getting to taste-test the bagel was also a treat!)

Q: What do you hope people will experience from the November special?
A: My hope is to let diners experience the essence of Thai street food — with a twist.

Happy July! Presenting our July specials... was a lil' fun game!

We had the heads of each outlet shout out the name of the first ingredient that came to their mind. This spontaneous game resulted in Portobello Mushroom, Onion, Sour Cream and Biscoff. Whoa! And each outlet did a damn good job on their own renditions. These specials will be available at each respective outlet for the entire month of July.

Our Joo Chiat outlet will be closed this coming Tuesday, 2nd July, for a kitchen maintenance. Other outlets would remain open for your bagel needs!
