SPOKEN WORD POETRY MECHANICS/GUIDELINES:

1. SPOKEN POETRY is a performance art that is word based. It is a writing that is meant to be spoken or delivered with emotions to an audience. It is an oral art that focuses on the aesthetics of word play,
rhythm, improvisation, rhymes, intonation and voice inflection.

2. The contest is open to all Junior and Senior High School students of Cronasia Foundation College, Inc.

3. The spoken poetry must be an original composition.

4. Three (3) printed copies of the spoken poetry must be submitted to the organizers one (1) hour before the contest proper.

5. The piece must depend to this qoute "Idaan sa pagluluto ang damdaming bumubugso"

6. Each contestant is given a maximum of 3 to 5 minutes to recite or deliver his/her piece. No deduction shall be made if the contestant finishes the delivery in less than the maximum time-frame.

7. The spoken poetry must delivered from memory and any movement is confined on stage.

9. Attire appropriate for the spoken piece should be worn during the contest.

10. Sounds, instrumental or musical background are allowed to complement the delivery. No deduction
shall be made if the contestant opts not to have a musical background.

Ps: Submit your piece to teacher Charissa Mae Behiga 7:30-5:30 on Monday July 23,2018 (for checking purposes). Kindly indicate your name/gradelevel/track/contact #.

Ps: Failure to submit your piece on the aforementioned time and date is considered default.

Eto laging tandaan guys manalo o matalo the most important thing you did your best...Gora Grade 7 laban lang ng my puso guys "Eto laging tandaan guys huh sa bawat laban maraming magaling , maraming matalino , pero kukunti LNG ung my puso. Ipakita mu kung ano ung meron ka na walang pagkukumpara sa iva. Fight2 Grade 7 do ur best palagi, see yah tomorrow, Love you all. Teacher Grace on this side ;-) .

Congratulations Grade 9 Silva for winning the FACEBOOK CHOICE AWARD it wasn't easy tagging and sharing photos the same with the other Grade level. Don't be discouraged if you failed today the most important thing is that the sportsmanship that we have in our school. These things made us happy right? So we should expect winners and losers at the same time but then again I love the courage, cooperation and dedication you've showed, at the end of the day we are all WINNERS.
