My friend, Zion Brock is an incredibly talented musician and artist and could use your help today....
His Spa Music Volume 2 album has been officially released, and I'd be grateful if you'd help him out with some or all of the following:
- Listen to it while you're doing deep work or reading, relaxing before bed, stretching or meditating.
- Rate it, if your streaming platform allows for it.
- Purchase if you love it. (itunes or amazon), or just put it in a shared playlist.
- Share it with friends using links below
- Send him a note, or comment on this post with your thoughts.
Good social buzz and plays will often trigger algorithms in streaming services, which will then recommend the music to other playlists. So if you love this music, please consider helping him. Thanks!

I'm a walking contradiction... Partly truth and partly fiction. Complicated - All about Love... Compelled to share what I have learned... Love is all there is!
And still, there is that part of me, that sarcastic b***** part of me... that prompted someone I know to give me this honest mug that I love... and someone else to give me this short delightful book, "Thoughts on Love" written by Anne Lamont which is speaking directly to my heart and makes me wish I wrote it myself (oxymoron anyone?).
Life is good this afternoon...and LOVE IS

So we are lifetime Arizonans 🌵 new to the Pacific Northwest, and could possibly be incorrect with what we thought we were seeing but we pegged these as migrating geese 🪿 and there were hundreds , maybe thousands of them (couldn't get even a quarter of them in a picture). We pulled the car over, stood in awe watching and listening as they swirled all over the sky before heading north. 😍
Be ready for magnificence! 💫

Having the privilege to wake up, look out the window and see this magnificent sunrise this morning, fills my heart with gratitude and awe. 💞 Had to share it with you! 💫
Spending a lifetime in the beautiful desert prepared me for nature's masterpieces, but sunrise and sunset on the water is a totally new experience- those cloud reflections in the water take my breath away.

It’s not every day that your grown son writes a book, especially when he openly shares parts of himself – his heart, his dreams and some very vulnerable experiences and feelings that I didn’t have a clue about.
I want to thank YOU 😍 for helping me support him with your great reviews on the release of his very first non-business book. We know that takes an incredible amount of courage and an open heart – that’s what we’re all about here. I’m feeling humbled and blessed – thank you.

Okay, he’s my son, so yeah, I’m proud of this book he wrote with his talented friend (and now mine), Bobbi Illing. But more than that, he’s a male who writes well and is introspective, humorous and sometimes, vulnerable. That always intrigues me – no matter who it is. Bobbi is funny, lovable and shares her life and the wisdom gained openly and honestly.
Their book, Dandelion, comes out tomorrow, Friday, January 26, 2024 but Kindle pre-order version is available for purchase now. This a book of personal essays – Bill and Bobbi’s strategy for surviving and thriving during the pandemic. It will warm your soul, make you laugh, and possibly bring a tear or two. It’s a great gift to give yourself…or others.

Dang Mel Robbins! Recently she exposed a little secret about me that prompted me to rethink why I did something I did. She’s like that friend who’s one friend who fearlessly dishes out the unvarnished truth, shoves you out of your comfort zone and leaves you questioning your life choices. Sure, they can be a real thorn in the side, but am I grateful to have them in my corner! 🙌

Maybe it was the way she delivered reality like a sledgehammer, or perhaps she was a little too upfront for my liking. But then, like an acquired taste or an unknown quirky playlist, she grew on me. Now, she’s my go-to unofficial therapist, whether she’s aware of it or not.
I could have easily written her off after those sketchy first impressions, but I heeded that little voice that beckoned me to give her a chance, and I’m so grateful I did. She’s been the catalyst for rethinking my thinking, reminding me to remember who I am, change my mind and take action. (Hint: 5-4-3-2-1! Do you know who I’m talking about?

I felt naked, exposed, and maybe even slapped in the face. How on Earth did she know that just days before, I’d gone down a little rabbit hole of my own – lurking through profiles of people who had wisely become a distant memory? How did she know? I hadn’t told a soul!
Sometimes, I can’t help but believe that GUS (God, Universe, and/or Spirit) has a knack for looking out for us in mysterious ways. It’s like a cosmic conspiracy, precisely delivering the lessons we need, right when we need them. Life’s funny like that.

Ever met a self-help guru who delivers wisdom with the subtlety of a sledgehammer and the charm of a grumpy cat? Well, I know one, and she's a relentless force of nature. In my somewhat traumatic, yet funny journey from skeptic to believer, I've unearthed the magical world of life-changing lessons served with a side of 'what on earth are you doing with your life?' reality checks.
With humor, vulnerability, and a dash of 'who knew I needed this?' wisdom, my blog is a comedy of errors and growth, where I share my escapades through the jungle of self-discovery, one unexpected epiphany at a time.

Yes, I may be older, but I can still be of service, remain curious, set new goals, and live purposefully. I am still the master of my life, even if there are some limitations. Genuine love and support mean the world to me, just as they do most people. I’ve discovered that there’s nothing more enriching than listening to someone else’s story and learning about their unique journey to force my mind and heart to open more fully. It’s hard to critically judge someone when I’ve truly listened intently to them share something meaningful in their life. I get it! Sometimes aging is hard...for lots of different reasons. It's easy to go down a dark hole BUT that's not how I want to live the rest of my life. I had to rethink a few things. That's when I created 5 approaches to live my life more joyfully and I'm sharing it here with you.

LOL, this picture always makes me smile! Family - is my joy, but sometimes.... well, you know what I'm talking about! 😳
We are all human beings - we judge, we make mistakes, sometimes we're hard on those who are closest to us, we struggle with apologies and periodically, we grapple with unconditional love. While I know we occasionally have to make the hard choice to eliminate certain people from our lives (unfortunately, from time to time, it's our family members). It's critical we reflect on our decision and adjust our thinking, when appropriate and safe to do so.
I used to tell my kids that the world was a big place and sometimes people were unkind but here in our family we treat each other with respect and kindness. We hold each other up and encourage one another. We got each other's back!
Life moves fast. Seems we’re always in a hurry. Sometimes we forget to REALLY look at another... eye to eye. Deep into the soul - the heartline between us . See what’s real. I see you… I hear you….
Not connecting and not seeing HAPPENS….all the time! Take a moment as you’re flying by a stranger on the street, your colleague, a friend, your child, your partner, even your sweet pet….connect at a deeper level…show something besides stress, worry, busyness. Smile. Share. Care… for that unique soul. Mingle in a shared moment. Feel the energy and inspire both of us!
In case you were wondering, I think you’re amazing, perfect the way you are, and absolutely magical! There is no other you (not even close) and I am grateful that you are here….in my world!
Love is all there Is!
Have an amazing day!

Life is a fascinating journey, full of twists and turns that shape who we are and how we interact with the world. For me, as a then 55-year-old with an Enneagram 3 personality and a strong 4 wing, this journey had been defined by the constant pursuit of success, an unwavering passion for my work, and a deep desire to strike a harmonious balance between my professional life, personal relationships, and overall well-being. Today, I invite you to join me on a candid exploration of how my unique personality traits influence my family life, retirement work, and daily habits.

Well, well, well, would you look at that! Turns out I had been living life as an Enneagram 3 all along, desperately seeking validation and love through my relentless pursuit of success. Talk about a plot twist! It hit me like a ton of bricks, leaving my heart shattered but also setting me free from the exhausting charade of constantly proving my worth. Who knew my whole life had been a frantic race to earn love, like I was auditioning for the world's toughest talent show? I finally retired my tap-dancing shoes and stopped pretending I was the next big thing on Broadway. I started focusing on what truly set my soul on fire, without worrying about what I "should" be doing. So long, validation-chasing! It's time to embrace my quirks, unleash my inner weirdo, and find joy in just being me. Watch out world, because I now show you the real me – good, bad and beautiful! Cue the confetti cannons and let the adventure begin!

Discovering the wonders of self-awareness, much like stumbling upon a hidden treasure chest full of personal growth goodies, has been a game-changer for me. It's like I finally found the instruction manual for this quirky contraption called "myself." And guess what? The enneagram turned out to be the Rosetta Stone of my soul, decoding the mysteries of my personality with a level of precision that would make a mathematician blush. This fascinating system took me on a journey through nine distinct personality types, each with its quirks and quirks aplenty. From the perfectionist One to the adventurous Seven, I've explored the nooks and crannies of my psyche, laughing at the absurdities and marveling at the intricacies. Armed with this newfound knowledge, I've managed to let go of old baggage that clung to me like a clingy ex, making room for a brighter, more authentic future. It's a bit scary, like entering a haunted house with only a flashlight and a goofy sense of humor, but the rewards are immense. Now, I can move forward into the future with a skip in my step, unencumbered by the ghosts of the past, and with a smile that could outshine the sun. Embracing my authentic self, enneagram and all, has turned out to be the ultimate ticket to a life of joy, and hey, who doesn't want a front-row seat to that show? https://buff.ly/3OTcXMm
Reflecting on our journey, as I nurse my slightly sunburnt nose with a dash of aloe and a sprinkle of pride, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. For the Hawaiian islands that hosted our adventure, for the legs that bore our enthusiasm, but most importantly, for the son and daughter who turned a Mother's Day gift into a treasure trove of memories. For those contemplating a family vacation, I say, dive right in! The sun might be harsh, the trails challenging, and yes, you might just walk your asses off, but the shared laughter and deepened connections, those are worth every single step.

There were times I bit my tongue not to say what was on my mind and then there were times I didn’t. When I became aware of my own ego and worked towards solutions and the win/win, instead of having to be the authority and right, it changed my relationships with my adult children. It’s more important for me to have a loving and meaningful relationship with my kids, than to be right or better or first…or louder…or to have the last word. It took some practice, some mistakes and some big changes but together we worked through all the sh*tola that came our way. It was worth it and paved the way for this dream vacation.

There’s no doubt I am super fortunate to have adult kids who want to spend time with me - I’m forever grateful! The quality of our relationships have improved greatly over the years due to our desire to stay connected and it hasn’t always been easy. Looking back now, I know the hard work, the willingness to learn about ourselves and each other and to change what wasn’t working - the emotional roller coaster ride from joy to frustration to disappointment to anger to agony to confusion to peace has been worth it.
We recently spent a week together in Hawaii and it was heaven in so many ways. Please take a moment to read my blog here -

I was so excited to be gifted a Hawaiian vacation with my two adult children - just the three of us, for a whole week! A mother’s dream, really - how often do we get to spend good quality time with all our adult kids, just them with no partners or kids or work for a prolonged period of time.
However, there was just a bit of trepidation also. We are all so different now. Our love is strong but there are differences too. Are we ready to spend this much time together? Can we have deep and meaningful conversations without upsetting one another? Can we let frustrations, anger and other feelings from the past go and move forward? There were questions but so much more joy and excitement at the possibilities.
We jumped in and I’m so glad we did!

Wildd Hearts Our goal is to be a beacon of love and light! We share our stories as we make our way!
It took me awhile, but I was finally able to accept my brother for who he was – the good, the bad, the ugly. Sometimes it wasn’t easy.
We’re a complicated bunch. Our lives have been bumpy. I was on my crooked path striving…always striving to be that person…worthy of love and attention. My brother took his own crazy road and sometimes I took it upon myself to be his judge and jury…until I didn’t anymore.
Life has a way of teaching you what you need to learn…if you’re open to the lesson. I’m so grateful I was because it opened new doors. It opened my eyes. It opened my heart to a higher form of love – pure and unconditional.
And it made all the difference in my relationship with my brother.
Love is ALL there is!

Our Story
WILDD Hearts - Wildly Inspired by Life’s Divine Dance
Our story continues to evolve, although it started many years ago. These founding members are long-time friends, some of us reconnected since high school, others have known each other for a shorter period of time. We’re all professionals who strive to be our best selves. We are deeply spiritual but in our own unique ways. While we don’t always agree with each other, you will notice we respect each other’s beliefs, values, journey and ideals. You’ll notice we laugh a lot, cry a bit and sometimes get on our pedestal. We’re “experienced” human beings who are choosing to continue to learn and grow - which means we still sometimes fall, “get back up on that horse again and ride”, as our grandparents used to say. We also soar, sometimes with the angels and sometimes with our triumphs.
We’re here sharing our lessons, stories, awareness and realizations. We’re a group of friends who have worked really hard to choose the people we hang with and form new meaningful relationships with others who are striving to be their best selves. We’re here for each other and we’re here for you. Welcome to WILDD Hearts!
It is expected that all who enter here will strive to treat one another with respect and kindness.
