GLBR was honored to have our award winners, Amy Bartels Roe of Mustard Seed and Elan S. Nichols of Legal Services of Eastern Michigan with us tonight; along with our keynote speaker, Maria Romo, who gave us an overview of her role as the social worker at the Saginaw Public Defenders Office

We had Magistrate Janey Lamar swear in our new executive board (missing a few today) and we all made time for some great conversation throughout the night !

New Year, New Attorney added to Greenfelder Copes! 🎉

Greenfelder Copes announces that attorney McKenzie Stone has joined the law firm.

Stone graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2018, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and then attended Michigan State University Law School, earning her juris doctor degree.

McKenzie is originally from Prescott, MI. She is a big sister and is a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Her nephew and two cats are the light of her life.

Stone is accepting new clients and focusing in the firm’s family, landlord/tenant, and probate sections.

Our past president and regional representative, Emilie, cooked her Nana’s beef stroganoff for the residents of The Mustard Seed today.

The Mustard Seed is a Women’s Shelter in the Great Lakes Bay Region that houses 12 single women on one side and 7 women with children on the other side. They help with all aspects of life to help women make a better life for themselves and their children.
