after being blonde for sooo long it was she decided to bring in the new year with a change!
we still left a little bit of baby lights throughout the hair but kept it soft and simple..

the thing i love about these kind of layers is that is gives three things
1. definiton around the face
2. an illusion of the hair looking longer as the lauers start short from the top and get longer as you blend
3. when you have a cut like this it add alot of volume aswell as body with whatever technique you style it whether your leave it natural, blowdried, or loose waves
its a haircut with alot of options
here i have blowdried the hair inwards to define the layers more

lets talk about lighting and how it affects the color..
the photo on the left is inside the salon where the lighting is alot warmer and hence throws off warmer tones..
the one on the right is outside the salon in natural lighting where the color shows alot more cooler tones
lighting is very important when it comes to taking your photos.
also what you use to take your photos plays a big part aswell.
i take all my photos on my iphone 11
(yes its an older phone) but it all comes down to lighting
i dont use a ring light to take my photos in the salon (i dont have the space for it)
this is why i prefer to take the photos outside as natural lighting is best..
the one on the right is what the color looks like in person so bear in mind sometimes photos do not do a color justice..

root stretched the roots with 7.81 and 7.0
toned mid lengths to ends with 9.8
