Friday was the perfect day for field day at LES/OSC!

Lots of sunshine ☀️ fun 🤩 and and of course a special treat from the Kona Ice truck!

Our first annual PTO sponsored 5th grade farewell dance was a huge success!

Hey Everyone! 👋🏻

Friday is the Primary School’s Spring 🎶 Concert. We have purchased a flower 🌺 for each student to receive as they come off the stage. We are looking for at least 2 volunteers per grade level to help hand out flowers at the end of each concert. You wouldn’t miss anything. Just come up as the students are getting dismissed.

If you’re interested. Please let me know which grade level you will volunteer to help with in the comments below. ⬇️

Grade 2 - “The Sound of Kindness”: 12:20 pm
Grade 1 - “Seasons in First Grade”: 1:10 pm
Kindergarten - “A Seed Grows”: 2:00 pm

Teacher Appreciation week is underway! Tomorrow is thank your teacher with a note day! Your Primary School student had this fun note sent home last week. Feel free to fill it out and get it back to your teacher as a fun way to share your students gratitude for a great school year.

Wowza! we have already exceeded our goal of $8,000 to support new outdoor fun and learning experiences for our students. $8,500 to be exact!

Tomorrow is the big day! Do you think we can make it an even $10,000 of donations????

Parents 💦 we’ve got plenty of water to keep your students hydrated! Please remember to lather on that sunscreen ☀️ and send them ready to get some exercise and have some fun running/walking 🏃 around the track!

Next week is TEACHER APPRECIATION week! If you haven’t seen this flyer it will be coming home soon.

Next week is full of fun ways to support your teachers.

Monday- Dress like your teacher! Make it fun. This may be the best day of the week!

Tuesday- Bring your teacher some fun supplies. Think special pens, colorful or personalized post it notes or notepads, special markers etc.

Wednesday- It’s as simple as writing your teacher a thank you note. What’s one thing you will remember from this year??? Your student will have a cute little note to fill out too.

STRIDE WITH PRIDE postponed until Friday, May 3rd.

With the impending rain, Stride with Pride has been moved to Friday. The good news is…. That gives us an extra to to collect donations! Today we hit $6,400! Way to go!

With our Middle School event last Thursday and our Primary and Elementary School’s donations coming in this weekend we have exceeded our orgional goal of $5,000!!! As of this morning our donations are at $5,600. Way to go!

We are close to each of the 3 schools getting about $2,000 to use for fun events and playground necessities for our students.

Thursday is the big day! We stride with pride around the track! It’s a day of fun and positive movement for our bodies.

The Middle School had a great day with the dunk tank! They raised over $1,200 for Stride with Pride today. Nice job Lodi Middle School.

Don’t forget, 100% of the money raised goes towards our district’s 4k-8th grade students.

Tomorrow is a big day at School District of Lodi Middle School. Yep- that’s right folks. $10 a ball and your middle schooler can have a chance to dunk Mr. Pertzborn in the dunk tank. $100 is a guaranteed dunk 💦.

Our local businesses donated sponsorship money to help purchase ALL STUDENTS 4k-8th grade a Lodi Pride T-shirt. Amazing!

Lodi Elementary School and OSC 🎶 Fine Arts Night is tonight!🎵 We are looking forward to a wonderful performance from our students.

Students will be meeting 15 minutes before their performance time… these are the

MEETINGS TIMES

OSC 4:45. perform 5:00
3rd grade 5:15 perform 5:30
4th grade 5:45 perform 6:00
5th grade 6:00 perform 6:15

🎶 🌺 Last minute, we are looking for two parent volunteers from each grade level and OSC to help hand out a PTO gift 🌺 to each student as they exit the risers after their performance. If you can help, please drop your name and grade level in the comments and I will touch base with you. Thanks!

OSC is having a fundraiser In correlation with the event too! Thank goodness they are offering dinner right at the school because we are all so busy and a Thursday night to not think about dinner is just what we all need! Thanks OSC!

Plus, check out the fire truck 🚒 raffle! The proceeds go towards the new playground at the Elementary/OSC School. We are all so excited about the new playground, but we still have a ways to go to fund the fully inclusive outdoor play and learning space!

Instead of selling items for a fundraiser we created this exciting event to promote physical movement, community and fun with our students.

How do we raise money doing a fun event??? That’s where you come in!

We need donations!!!!! 💰 💵
Instead of buying cookies or chocolates or anything for that matter, 💯 % off your contribution goes towards our 4k-8th grade students.

What are the funds used for???
Each building designates what they need the funds for.

The Primary school is planning a few fun activities for the students including a bounce house for the students.

The Elementary is adding their funds to their playground fund.

The Middle school is planning a fun event/field trip for their students.

The students collect donations and then walk the track as a way to promote school community while being active and having a goal in mind.
