Celiac and COVID-19 awareness information
We've recently received a few questions asking if those with celiac disease are at higher risk of more severe cases of COVID-19.
Beyond Celiac Chief Scientific Investment Officer Ken Kilgore, PhD, MBA and along with Benjamin Lebwohl, MD, MS, Director of Clinical Research at the Columbia Celiac Disease Center, have put together updated information for us regarding these inquiries.
From Dr. Kilgore: "Certainly there are potential links between the mechanisms involved in celiac disease and COVID-19 immunity, which creates the possibility of increased response in those with celiac disease. However, this is purely hypothetical and has yet to be proven."

My dinner tonight was delicious and simple. Not only low calorie and organic, but I was able to make it in less than 20 minutes and only dirtied a few dishes :)Booyah! I'll tell you my healthy eating dish minimizing gluten free secrets if you bribe me with halo top ice cream :)
