Pat Taylor was born and raised in Bangor County Down in Northern Ireland. His "Irish Country" novels are based on journals he kept of his early days as a young doctor in rural Ireland in the early 1960s. Pat has had a long and illustrious career as a doctor and medical researcher. He is also an avid traveller, offshore sailor, model boat builder, military history and Guinness fan.
