Original crochet handmade by Me... Aja B... If it involves a hook and yarn (and some other types of materials) I can most likely do it.
I have been crocheting for over 23 years with my skills having grown exponentially over the last 11 of those years. If I have a pattern or a picture I can more than likely make it. I do have arthritis which limits me to a certain degree, but I do accept custom orders and have a booth at the Meigs County Farmers Market.

🧶 Just a few of the bigger things I had left after opening day of Meigs County Farmers' Market !!
🌧 Can't necessarily say it was beautiful weather (well, maybe for ducks 🦆) but it was definitely a beautiful day with our community!
😊 I'm always so in awe of how committed our community is to our wonderful market! Rain doesn't spoil it at all!
🥹 So very grateful to be back at it and looking forward to seeing everyone next week as well!!

Hey folks, it's me again!
I'm going to share one more personal story/reason this market means so much to me...
I've said over the years that the money I make from my market booth has sponsored youth sports teams, paid for bills, and myriad other odds and ends but this year it has paid for transforming my life.
My crochet has been part of my identity since I was 12. Never thought some day it could contribute to saving my life. My health has never been great, but the older I get the heavier and weaker I became. Till I got sick of it. So I contacted Uplift Fitness... I signed up for a 6 month commitment but it was specifically during market season because I knew I would have the extra money during that time.
I know I'm the one doing the work, but it is thanks to this community and their support of our Market and vendors that I've had the financial ability to do it at all!
I'm not exaggerating when I say the market changes lives... you make a difference when you support local! So to help continue and further that difference let's push this contest over the finish line to victory!

This picture is from the end of season party of 2022... and these are just three magnificent ladies (plus my daughter) that I consider family as a result of the market.
I've lived in Meigs County my entire life almost and if I can be truly transparent with you I never much felt part of it...
I remember starting my job for Meigs local in 2019 and the first day meeting someone spoke about being and I laughed out loud at that... rude 😒 I know... but little did I know I would regret that laugh in just a few months.
Covid lockdowns came and what was there to do but crochet my little heart out. But I only have so much space and my husband was raising his eyebrow more and more at the build up of critters, dishcloths, and towel hangers. So I contacted the market page and before I knew it I was a half season vendor.
Being a part of the market has grown a sense of pride in Meigs County inside of me that I never knew was possible. I knew the dark side of my hometowns but with the market I have seen the beautiful side of this amazing COMMUNITY. The market showcases the love, creativity, hard work, compassion, and camaraderie that not just the vendors have but every person who attends our market every week! Without you we lose purpose.
God has truly blessed our market with folks who love this County, love our vendors, and love our community. And that's why we need your votes to keep us #1 in the nation!
