After 4 days and 277 miles our members rode into the Law Enforcement Memorial to mark the end of another Police Unity Tour. They were surrounded by over 2100 other officers from around the country and countless mothers, daughters, sons, fathers, husbands and wives of officers killed in the line of duty.
Proud is an understatement.

Good luck to our members and all the officers from across the country riding in the Police Unity Tour! Almost 300 miles over 4 days is no small challenge but the cause is worth the effort.
The Police Unity Tour supports the National Law Enforcement Memorial and more importantly, the survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

This is the hero we lost last night. Philadelphia Police Officer Richard Mendez was 50 years old and a 22 year veteran when he interrupted a car burglary at Philadelphia International Airport parking deck Thursday night. He was shot multiple times and a fellow officer was also shot. His murder has shaken us all.

He leaves behind a wife and daughter. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

We need to catch his killers. COP SHOT is offering a reward through Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5
