Bros’ Story
Once upon a time, there were two Bros...
...Born and raised in the great state of Texas, the two bros grew into adulthood and over the years developed a unique passion for all things tasty. After graduating from culinary school in 2008, the Bro’s joined the culinary industry. They worked in kitchens on the Gulf Coast, North Texas, and Eastern Tennessee, in every concept from fine dining to fresh seafood and great BBQ.
As anyone who has worked in a kitchen knows, a cook's job is a difficult and thankless one. If you don't love it, you won't make it. Well, they LOVED it.
In the summer of 2014, after working 70-hour weeks managing high-volume kitchens in the Smoky Mountains of Eastern Tennessee, they took a much-needed vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Amazingly, an opportunity to open a small restaurant in the area presented itself. A few weeks later with only two days off, they set up a meeting, drove 750 miles on a Tuesday afternoon, and slept on the beach. After the meeting concluded the next morning in what can only be described as a handshake deal, they took the long journey back home, resigned their positions as managers, and became Restauranteurs...
...and so began Bros!
