💜New Scoring Project: "POCKET PRINCESS" - An Animated Fantasy/Horror Short💜

I am thrilled to share my latest film scoring endeavor for the short film "Pocket Princess," directed by Olivia Loccisano. Collaborating with a female director on this stop-motion animation project is a rare and exciting opportunity, and I feel fortunate to work with such a talented filmmaker.

My journey with Olivia began when I had the privilege of watching her debut film, "First Blood," at Blood in the Snow Film Festival last year. I was truly impressed by her bold writing and directorial skills and it stood out among other films presented. When she approached me for "Pocket Princess," I knew it was an opportunity I couldn't miss. While the story is a secret for now, I can assure you that it promises to be thought-provoking and significant, making it appealing to young adults and parents alike.

As a composer, I find great joy in merging the worlds of film and music. Each project presents a unique canvas for artistic collaboration, and "Pocket Princess" is no exception. The prospect of bringing the film's emotions to life through music fills me with excitement and enthusiasm.

While I can't reveal the plot just yet, I can tell you that "Pocket Princess" is an animated fantasy/horror short, following a young girl on a daring quest to complete her doll collection. The film promises to be a thrilling and emotional ride, and I'm eager to see how the music intertwines with the stunning visuals of stop-motion animation.

With Olivia's vision and talent leading the way, and a compelling narrative driving the story, "Pocket Princess" is shaping up to be a remarkable project. I am honored to contribute my musical skills to this enthralling cinematic experience.

Turns out, every time I listen to this song, it gives me profound energy to shine and lifts me up to do something. I keep this song on repeat when I need a lift. This is my theme song. I hope it’ll give you the energy to do your own things when you need most.

“Victory” might mean something different to everyone. To me, “victory” means “happiness”. For your happiness, work hard. Work hard on what you love. Because no matter what it is that you do, it’s not easy. When you learn what you love, there will be joy. You will enjoy the journey and your growth. Thanks to the occasion to write this song, I became more clear on what I want to do and what I can do to help people. I want to encourage people to follow their passion, and I started to work with local talented artists.

This EP includes the remastered original song, a dance mix version, the karaoke version and the instrumental version.

The eye opening dance mix version was created with the collaboration of Geddn, an EDM music producer. It’s a genre that I’ve never explored before and it was fascinating to see this become real. Hope many others will enjoy this too. Geddn Music

Victoryというと人によって捉え方が違うと思いますが、私にとってこの歌では幸せという気持ちを込めています。自分の幸せのために、がんばろう。自分の好きなことをがんばろう。何をするにしても、簡単にはいかないから。自分の好きなことを学ぶと喜びがあり、その道のりと成長をもっと楽しめる。私もこの歌をきっかけに、色んな人の夢の手助けをしたいと、地元アーティストとの活動を始めました。

今回カナダ人EDMプロデューサーGeddnとのコラボで、初めてのジャンルのダンスバージョンを制作。ノリの良い早いテンポでかっこよく仕上がっています。ぜひ聴いてみてください。
